It is wrong to call this a "religion" when it promotes and endorses what it does what it does out of the 'public eye". It's nothing more than a money making sceme for those who will follow a radical and give - as if to "buy" their way to salvation! "follow docrtine, give $$$ and you will be saved!" - blahoohey! RELIGION is NOT made up of people following a deviate and their own ways, who feel the same perversions as they do do! religion has nothing to do with 50 some odd year old "marrying" teens!- it's simply a "legal loophole" until someone speaks out - and the government needs to step in more! Stop the rape and molestation - and get with it! More homosexuals(male and female and also trans-gendered) are harmed and not even mentioned on the news - and this gets national coverage? At least the GLBT community, although harmed and not mentined, is not harming or causing harm to others!

Stop the persecution of these peace-loving people. So what if their customs are not like ours? Let them practice their religion. The Santeria people can sacrifice chickens and goats without anyone invading their neighborhoods for "animal cruelty". Jews, Muslims can practice circumcision outside of hospitals and without a doctor present without being charged with "child endangerment" or "child abuse".

There are much more important things to weed out and eliminate such as corruption, incompetence, waste, etc., in municipal, county, state and federal governments. Live and let live.

Until they do they haven't committed a crime, you just can't assume they are going to, so harrassing them before hand isn't the right thing to do. And you know just as well as I do I am not religious, so I could careless about religious nutjobs, but I do care about our civil rights.

Let the DNA testing take its course, there is plenty of time for the truth to come out. Texas did the right thing, this has gone on for decades. I was the FOR KIDS SAKE child abuse prevention rep for AZ-NV-UT from 1996-2001 and lived 22 miles from Hildale UT/Colorado City AZ with victim clients and taking threats from FLDS attorneys, it wayyyy past time that some agency had the guts to do the right thing!

The constitutionalist and FLDS apologist for child rapist pedophiles are more than welcome to sit down and talk. I will drive to Colorado City AZ and use Gary E. the investigators office/trailer to discuss real issues if they have any, but so far none want to ID themselves to the investigators or the press.

Its a reverse rush to judgement against TEXAS, there was a history of abuse in Arizona & Utah and the DNA along with children outside the compound 30 or more days will reveal truths that will make those that excuse this run for cover, to find rocks to crawl back beneath!

Last Thursday I was in Colorado City AZ helping to establish a public library after warren Jeffs had previously banned books from the outside. Any one here can get involved! Friday I met with Jennifer Dobner of AP at this new library. Yesterday interviews were set up with John Hollenhorst of SLC KSL TV to interview and promote this learning facility. Yesterday Patrice St. Germain was on location doing the same story for the St. George Utah Spectrum Newspaper as their staff writer.

There is to much unknown to readers who base opinions on limited resources. If any here want to get involve, it can be arranged. This group routinely reassigns women and children and in the case of uncle Fred Jessop, he was sterile from mumps as a kid, the 100 children that called him father, were not his! The Allreds, Jim Harmston, Fred Collier Group, Gerald Peterson Group, Centennial Park across the southern stateline line, a Timpson off shoot of the FLDS near Delta Utah. The Harker Ranch near beryl junction in the Modena area, and the list goes on in rural areas across the state. Cases like Thomas Green in his west Utah desert ramshackled trailers in West Juab county. Utah estimates 40,000 according to former AG Investigator Mike King (in 2000). King was replaced by Ron Barton on Oct. 2nd of 2000 and in 2004, Jim Hill replaced Ron Barton as Utah's investigator of closed societies. Utah likely has double this estimate and would need a unit of 30-50 investigators/prosecutors to address the size of this issue.

Complicated is the welfare fraud and in the case of the FLDS Fumarase disease caused by inbreeding or crossing peticular bloodlines with in this group. Kingston have the same problem. In colorado city there is a childrens grave yard with 62 unmarked mounds, suspected related to Fumarase deficientcy.

No news agency can cover the spectrum of issues in a single story, thus stories are fragmented and incomplete!

Well jay..I would like more information on this...I believe New Mexico is unindated with these "sects" also...especially around the Hobbs, Tatum, Lovington, and Seminole area.

What do these fruitcakes think they can get away with. Beating, sexually abusing young girls, they all should be incarcerated and taken advantage of in prison by the 'boyfrieds'. These 50 year old geesers are nuts. They can't get a woman so they abuse little girls, I thought that was called pedafilia. Why haven't any of these old 'coots' been prosecuted?
