Area needs an off-leash park

Amen! I totally agree.

I totally agree, it is time for several off-leash areas. And not just those fenced in giant yards, but some trails where we can enjoy nature with our dogs. In the years I have lived here I have lost access to nearly every area favored for off-leash walking. It seems recently these areas became "discovered" and then regulated so I can no longer enjoy them. There should be room for all of us to have our little piece of nature. I would like to see my taxes go to something like this.

There is already an off-leash dog park in the Fort Steilacoom Park. It is fully enclosed and has been in existence there for the last 4-5 years.

Grow a clue. If you can't afford land for your livestock, you can't afford your livestock.

Nature isn't there for your slavering, stinky, disease-dispersing animal to conquer. There's precious little nature left in the South Sound--what there is is overrun with idiots and their four-legged replacements for human relationships.

I have better things to pay for than your animal fetish, which you yourself can't afford.

Unfortunately, like parents, you expect everyone else to pay for your lifestyle choices.

Oooo oooo oooooo, I want an elephant! And the taxpayers should have to pay for a place where I can let it run and be happy!

The plan is in the works... check out Sound Hounds. Even though the page says it hasn't been updated, it's been moving forward for a couple of years at least.
