Police Arrest 2 In Ind. Meth Lab Raid
The Indiana State Patrol said troopers made two arrests and broke up a major methamphetamine operation during a raid at a home near Deputy on Friday.

I wish they would arrest all of the meth heads!!!!! that stuff is bad and if i ever catch anyone selling it to someone in my family they will wish they have never sold anything in their life they WILL REGRET IT!!!!

you say you are an ex user what can I do to help a close friend any suggestions? he is a good kid just got caught up in the mess I do know comming off it cold turkey is dangerous. I know I am opening up the door to a whole lot of childish comments but you dont know the pain of it till you see someone you love try with all thier heart to come off it. |

I'm sure in this town everyone pretty much knows at least one person who uses this drug. I keep asking myself. You can see the life a person lives once they are on this Meth. You are screwed if you do any type of chemical drugs today. And I used to think it was bad for people to smoke a joint back in the 70's, but why would someone even try this type of drug? Is this the stuff that give them people sores all over their faces? Using this stuff sounds like you're taking the road to your grave.

yes on the sores.used to be addicts live next door to me.the violence was on a daily basis,screaming, fighting.there was a death from OD just last week |

It is the hardest thin i ever had to experience comin off that stuff, the hardest part of it is convincing the person they have a problem, which it took me loosing everything, including my kids, to realize i had a problem...for 5 years people were trying to help me, but i was stubborn, and finally i hit rock bottom, thats when i just changed my whole life...on my own i went to a rehab in louisville, OUR LADY OF PEACE, they were good, i had no insurance and they took me in, and they saved my life...Now i have my kids back, a good job, i work everyday, and its still a fight in the back of my mind when i hear the word meth, but i stay strong, so you just gotta pray and pray that they come to reality with life and see what it does to them and hopefully they open their eyes. |

jail aint the place they need to be....these people need help...not jail....they need guidance, rehab, and so on... |

GIVE THEM ALL THE PATIENTS YOU HAVE. It is hell for them. But if they are truly trying with all thier heart rehab and god will pull them past it. keep them close as u can with out affecting others. They cant be dependent on you. Just be a support system for them. Addiction is a daily fight for the rest of an addicts life. It will get easier as time passes. Fisrst year is the rough time. But relapse can happen 30 yrs later. May GOD be with you and your loved one. My prayer is for hid or hers sucessful recovery.

Thank You defender...i have come so far from where i was when i was on meth...i have my kids, and i regret that i missed alot of things with them, but now i just devote my whole life to them, i know i cant make up for the lost time but i can make their lives better and i am...we have so much fun....i hadnt talked to my mom in 7 years, and shes comin to visit me...I AM SO HAPPY!!!! i really dont have alot of friends now, they all were users too, but i joined a church and found all new friends, and god...SO I AM SO HAPPY...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

way to go ex user. I know how hard that coming off an addiction is. Just trust in God and always let him guide you and you'll be fine. He always takes you in the right direction and will carry you when needed. Keep up the good work and God bless you.

I'm so happy you were able to take that first big step and admit you had a serious problem. Many can't get that far. Saw many folks over the years hit bottom or go to their graves. Some hiv, the ones I would never expect to do any kind of drug! You're on the right road "EX USER", so just keep putting one foot in front of the other and march on with the Lord! I see so many slipping back because they go back and hang with the same folks they were getting high with. Stay away from them, they are on going for a ride on the DEATH TRAIN. Walk along side of God and you will have a happy life with your children! Hats off to you! Keep on moving forward and DON'T look back! |
