CSI chief suspended amid investigation

it must be nice for john ferak, he can just print anything anyone says to him, and no editor, will take him to task for the inaccuracy of his information or the inflamatory statements he is willing to commit to ink. "investigative reporter" in his previous article on this pending legal action, he states that head (commander, as the csi guys at NSP prefer to say)was "asked by investigators (which investigators??)to re-examine will sampson's vehicle" yet in his current "piece" he indicates that david kofoed "sometime later re-examined the vehicle...on his own initiative"....exemplary work, john

and of course, the potential repercussions for the omaha/douglas county "CSI" unit, it's reputation, it's findings, past cases.....how sad and ironic that people who became educated and chose law enforcement, and made it out of the barney fife world of people like sherriff brueggemann, and nathan cox (hi bill L.)...sad they would chose to throw all principles in the toilet to assist in the attempted frame job done on nick and matt...one must assume, that david kofoed, being a forensic investigator in the biggest csi for hundreds of miles in any direction, would have done an exemplary job the first time around ( the first sweep of w.s.'s car), with the wide high visibility media coverage the murders had been recieving. for him to "at the request of investigators"(according to john ferak's previous butcher job of current events) double check one specific spot (what? he suddenly "remembered" that he forgot to swab the steering column?) or if you go by this article, he DID just decide to swab that spot,(thanks again john ferak, your attention to detail and your own writing is inspiring to all of us aspiring journalists)of course, one expects that behavior from the cass county sherriff's dept./county attorney's office, but to find it in the omaha douglas county departments, and the state patrol, well, it's pretty darn disheartening.

sooo.....mr. kofoed, was it you? or the conspiracy that would be defined by your aquiessing to the mysterious un-named "investigator". perhaps mr ferak will enlighten us all in a future fiction story
