Hey guys-----as of this week a wildcatter moved into Mercer County preparing to drill. This site is 33 miles from my Oliver County minerals. That didnt take tooooooo long Rosie

I heard they were going to start drilling under Parshall soon, how in the heck would that work if everyone owns their own lot they would each get a big screen tv.......

No that isnt how it works...someone local has the mineral rights underneath the town i am sure. |

RE: previous comment from 84 yr old man and The Big Fish...If Mercer County is in the Bakken and has oil, why is no one interested in leasing oil rights there? Am I missing something?

Because there arent any more rigs to do that work. The best wells will be in the deeper part of the basin which that isnt in and there is no oil infastructure in Mercer county at all |

There will be some leasing but just small blocks by very small companies. Will not be much leasing just because there arent any rigs to drill it up. |

one oil pump can put out many barrels of oil in one day, depending on how active the well is. i was on one location that was putting out up to 90 barrels per hour.2160 barrels in one day. |
