Convicted Sex Offenders Being Allowed To be Around Children

Why is it that convicted sex offenders are allowed to be around children and children that do not belong to them ? What is wrong with their probation officer that she is allowing this ? Tattoo aka William Standafer has been dating a woman for a year and a half whom has a 8 yr old son . Spend many hours with this child . I do belive there was another complaint earlier this year where another offender was spending time with children. The Dunlap police dept has even been made aware of this situation . So tell me why people who are suppose to supervise and protect are allowing these things to happen

I have a real problem with this. William Standafer is NOT a child rapest or molester! There are so many people unfairly on a sex offender registry and yes there are so many people who are on there that deserve to be on there. What about someone who is dating someone 21 years ago and the woman gets pissed when they break up and wants to cry rape? What about the 18 year old boy who is dating a 17 year old girl and gets statutory rape and is a sex offender for life? What about a 12 year old that sends a nude photo to his friend and is a sex offender for life? You can't judge a person from his record. Why don't you get out and get to know some of these people and realize that some of them really are good people. A person can change from the time they are 20 til the time they are 45 and as we all know the justice system isn't always fair. don't pass judgement on someone until you know them. I have no problem at all with my kids being around Tattoo. He is a really nice guy. As far as the justice system goes, my father was in prison for something he didn't do back in 1994 (being passed out in a car during the time his friend went in his ex girlfriends house to get his belongings) and my dad had to be in prison for burglary. He wouldn't do anything to hurt a flea. This has been 17 years ago and he can't even get a job because of it. Remember that sometimes the innocent are proven guilty and vice versa. Don't judge a person unless you know who they really are.

Well this is unreal and if the police and the probation offiers are allowing this to happen , you would at least think the parents or gaurdians would stop it . What in the hell is wrong with this world

Either way, guilty or innocent, IF they are on the sex offenders list, they are not and should not be even caught around children.

I realize alot of people are innocent that have been accused,charged and/or sentenced, but that is what a lawyer is for and the reason you can appeal the court. Remember, there are many innocent children also.

If you are put on the list; there are laws regarding being around children. These laws should be taken very seriously by the justice center(s).

Would you want it on your hands if an innocent child was molested or raped just because YOU thought the so-called sex offender was innocent?? Obviously the judge had to have some kind of hard evidence to put them in this category.

well these people have all moved and they haven't reproted their new address. Cops need to check into that and do a round up!!!!!

This "Standifer" character was working for a local bondsman and carrying a gun a while ago. Nice for convicted violent rapist to be owning a pistol. He booted in the back door of Mity Tidy and stole from the local pawn shop.

Word , I know you have the power to do something even if it is just to print the information in the in your paper . I know for a fact it was reported to his P.O ABOUT 4 OR 6 MONTHS AGO THAT HE WAS SPENDING TIME WITH A CHILD . No one is above the law . A sex offender can't get bonded so the guy is not likely bonded and insured. If you own your home and an uninsured contractor is working on it and gets hurt they can sue your insurance.

All this stuff needs to be addressed to TBI and their parole officers. Several have contacted the parole officers and nothing is being done.
Send them an email and send me a blind copy, I will keep it for years and when the rapist rapes again at least you will have proof of criminal negligence. These are civil servants that pass their day complaining about the good law abiding citizens.

Give their jobs to people that will do them. Many are unemployed and would like a nice state job with benefits.

These sex perverts are on that list for a reason many are violent.

I have to worry about the kids around were I live and my own to get own the bus I live own valley view Dr. This is bad they are kids every were playing and sex offenders this close. To the school and bus stop I see one every morning the bus runs sitting or standing peting a cat this makes me sick! Is this allowed. Because. Of his dad use to be a police constable or what?
