Doesn't this town have enough bars? Why not make a place for these young to have a good place to go hang out at. There is nothing in this town for them

It would be nice if the ones that are going to open this p;ace would make it a place where young teenagers could hang out and have good clean fun. A game room for teens and young adults or all ages. A nice desent place for the young and old a like.A place where someone could take their Grandkids to have some fun. But I dont think that is what these people are really looking to do. I think they are out for Alcohol and drugs. I dont know if I spelt every word right but if you all dont get my drift then the people inthis town arent as smart as I thought you were.

A youth center in this town would be great. Do you have the funding to open one? Do you have any idea how expensive they are to open? If you decide to partake in that endeavor please let me know as I would be happy to take my grandchildren there.
I know the people that are opening this place and there will be no drugs, period. They have already shown that they are above board by not allowing anyone under 21 in. I also know they have hired bouncers to make sure that anyone who is causing problems will be removed and if not they will ask the police to remove them.
Adults need a place to relax as well and a nice, clean, upscale bar sounds good to me.

If they were to make it for youth do you know how much that would take and even then some would use it for drugs and alcohol. Do you know how uc supervision that would take it would be damn near impossible.ON THE OTHER SIDE...Derby is known for being rough WHY would they make a childrens place derby themed better suited for a bar and grille

I dont know how much money or time it would take to open a place in this town for teens. It probably would not work anyway. There are to many teens that dont know how to behave, either the way they raised or wasnt raised. with all the bars in this town would it not be nice to have some where decent to go, where kids could enjoy themself.

I loved the hot wings. I saw people in there who didn't seem to be in derby and the owner was nice. It was clean and the prices were good. I wish they would have a live band, but the bartender said they would be booking bands soon. As far as closing early, I don't know about Friday night but Saturday night they closed at 2. You have heard the people are awful? What's wrong, not adult enough to make your own decisions? Very few businesses start out crowded, it takes time to build clientele and as long as they keep the prices decent, and the beer cold I think they will do just fine.

3-6 months is what i give them. I think they have wasted time and money on opening this place back up.. Epic fail for maddogs and epic fail for jammers. Not alot of people care to much for roller derby just saying. This is just my opinion not here to argue with small minded people.

The bar is derby themed, but it is still a bar and grille. And since I am guessing it was neither your time or money that opened it, why do you seem so concerned? I will go back because I was treated well and liked the food. You are judging it because you don't like derby? Now, who is small minded.

If I read what they said correctly it said "most people" dont care for roller derby. Adult you might wanna change your name because you are clearly not that. Good Luck Jammers, I may not go to bars or roller derby but I would hate for any local business to fail.
