Georgia woman charged for marrying boy, 15

georgia needs a rule fora age limit on young kids getting married b/c itain't right. They just got in the world and don't know what love really is until....anyways i think it needs to be a law a/b age marriage.

That crazy!! Kids should be kids,in that case i should allow my 3 yr old to date. Over the years the law has allowed this world to get out of control. The children are out of control. And one day they will be our senators, preacher, teachers, etc. how can that be when so much is going on while they are growing up. And the world want to know why there is so much crime lately. The people that have the power to change things won't take advantage of that and do right. Yeah i am talking about the LAWMAKERS.

I saw that freak on the news a month or so ago. She basically stated it was the child's fault because he didn't tell her how old he was. It makes me want to hurl all over my keyboard.

the woman obviously has mental problems,the boy was a friend of her 15 yr old son,so she knew he was under 18 and knew that she was committing a crime, CHILD MOLESTATION, she should get the maximum (mainly for being stupid), the boy's grandmother should get the baby, the boy should get some intense counseling

our the people of georgia all so messed up. my god this type of stuff doesnt happen like that up north. i guess tthe entire state is a bunch of rejects and rednecks.

I dont see the differance in a married 15 year old that is pregnant and a non married teen that is pregnant.I think it is the Boys parents responsibility to know where and what their son is doing.Why do we expect law makers to save our children when we dont even know where they are.we need more parents and less pregnant kids.

Ick! That's so young to marry it's just sick!
Pepople getting married too young is the reason divorce rates are at 50% in this country...how're you supposed to know what kind of woman/man the person is going to be when they reach full maturity? Of course, that's a little off the main topic here, but I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Don't tell me this does not happen up North. It happens all over the world

Georgia is a civilized state.....what happened between these two is wrong, no way around it....but where in the world did they find someone stupid enough to marry them? She was wrong from using him in that way....he was a dumb kid being led by the ^%$#....but a baby has come into the picture....and to me if they were legally wed, how can they be prosecuted for being in the wrong...? ok while this may not be acceptable by today's standards no less than a hundered years ago this was more than common practice. so to say that the kids are going astray and that this is a product of the rejects of Georgia are untrue and uneducated statements. while i don't agree with it you people should be making the call for the laws to change with the times. and no guylc2 people getting married too young is not the reason divorce rate is so hi. here are the top 7 reasons

The saddest thing for this story is that the grandmother said she is unable to care for this child so a friend of the mother is now taking care of this poor innocent baby who didn't ask for this. The best thing for that baby is to allow a mature couple who would have the resources and ability to provide a stable loving home for it. In my line of work I see unplanned pregnancy alot and so many times it is the poor baby that suffers for the parents mistakes.

I meant that they could adopt the child. Sorry about that.

no not everyone in the state of georgia are rejects or redneck there are a few bad people every where if you dilike our state so much go to your home state do not down grade everyone because of a few people

the grandmother should have 5 mins. alone with this woman.the problem with child molestors is when they are caught the courts just turn around and turn them lose. if i was their judge the fireants would have a purpose.

We are all made differenly with different paths in life. Not everyones heart beats the same, love is a pure feeling from god. We love from our birth, it comes natural. Who is to say you cannot love at an early age? Don't you dare say its not norma, because what is normal to you is not normal to somone else. Why don't you mind your own buisness and let us lovers love, this blessed gift we have been gven from god.

Actually the reason for constant divorce rate is because everyone is so caught up with life the forgot to love. If everyone just loved then the rate of divorce would drop. Those who marry young stay together, becuase the grew up together for some of the hardest years in life. You suport each other, love eachother, and pick the other one up when the other one falls. I was married at 16 had, a child at 16 and have been married to the love of my life for 35 years. I now have four children all grow, and am more in love with my man everyday. Love is all unique, just how everyone on this planet is unique.
