What business does this guy own? And for sure he needs to be drug out in the street and shot. Then put his damn body on public display, as a warning for others who do crap like this. There is nothing worse than taking the innocence of a child. That child will never recover. I don't care if you send him to thirty years of therapy, he will never be O.K. In fact I would bet that he has many problems down the road, especially emotional. I think creeps that have the nerve to do this should be executed in public. Sick and Disgusting. And anybody who knew anything about this (church, family, friends, ect..) should also be severely punished.
Did you know that two registered sex offenders live across the street from Ashley Elementry School in Vernal? Why is scum like this allowed to live less than a 100 ft. from a school. Especially when their targets were minors. We need laws to prevent crap like this. Well thats my two cents anyway.

If it was a single man who owned a business, then I would wholeheartedly agree with the decision to boycott his store. However, that's simply not the case here. He has a family who is clearly going through a traumatic time, and cutting off a source of income for them seems like it would only serve to exaserbate the problem. I know some people are blaming the mother for not taking action, and that seems to serve as further justification for the boycott. However A) the accused has been shown to be a manipulative user who lived a double life, and had his entire community fooled and B) regardless of the role of the mother, his children are innocent victims in all this, and every step should be taken to make sure that they are taken care of, and are not further traumatized. And getting cut off financially will only hurt them more.

The wife seems to be supporting her "manipulating user" with a "double life" by staying with him. Don't they call that guilt by association?

I am sure glad I don't have to pay the consequences for all the mistakes my family members(husband) make, how unfair would that be. Many of us have husbands that do stupid things. The law and community can come down hard on Brad Gale he deserves it, but his family should not continue to be victumized. We should support them and their store. The wife has 15 years to detach, maybe she will. She may be trying to protect what family she has left.

It baffles me why either side of this terrible action can set in judgement of each other. A chils is hurt and a manis sick. Yes keep him away from all children . Do not let it happen again. Don't split your commnity over this. Help where help is needed. Protect where protection is needed. Judgement is not left to us and hate and anger eats at us. It makes the crime so much worse do not be part of that. Our children are watching all of us!!!!!!!!!

just so everyone knows and realizes, his daughter has recently claimed rape on a neighbor by the name of Pat McBride. He admits to having sexual relations with her but that it was consentual. It is heresay by many people that she is rather promiscuous and was possibly a victim of her father so the issue continues.His wife is trying to have the abused son write a letter to the judge saying that he forgives his dad so that he will get a lesser sentence. I say that disgusts me and I dont feel sorry for her at all now its totally ridiculous that she could possibly live with herself for forcing such a thing. I have lost a lot of respect for this community over this whole thing.
