Haunted House in Dresden?

Has anyone heard about the house in downtown Dresden that is supposed to be haunted? I have heard some CRAZY stories about it lately.

What have you heard? What street is it on? I know someone that may know.

i've been there. its absolutely insane ! everything they say is true. well, maybe not everything. but the other day i ran into some bad luck , RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE ! i was pulled over and license were no where to be found ! crazy , crazy !

What street is this house on? A local ghost group came from my area and investigated one in Dresden.

It is on Jeter St... just off the court square. The recent rumors are: A very normal family just renovated it and left town suddenly because they were scared. Some people went in to check it out and one of the women had to be carried out and her eyes turned entirely black (whites and all). Ghost hunters came and one of them got hit in the head while in one of the bedrooms. The hexagon windows are boarded up but the rest looks great from the outside. It is a shame because the house needed a makeover and now it has a reputation. It is very interesting though. What have you heard?

I know the group that came from Fulton County KY to investigate it. Fulton County Paranormal Investigations. I do believe they captured some things in the house. I however can not tell what due to the fact they are very confidental about their investigations. I do know that another group from Nashville came in as well. The hexagon windows were put in by a family that moved in prior to the family that owns it now and they are not hexagon they were pentagrams. It is true that the family that owns it now does not live in the house.
I guess this would be a good time to say if your house is haunted call the group in Fulton County they would be glad to assist you.

This house is behind the Bank and where the old jail house use to be just down from the Court house. The house has always had a spooky feel to it and voice with out a body have been heard. The house was empty for years when I was a kid but me and my friends use to sneak in it things would move around the house on thier own. I would ask if you plan on going there go with a group that has permission because this is not something you want to mess with on your own. O yeah just incase it is something evil get blessed by a Catholic Priest. They are the only Christian Church that has the athority to perform execisims and such!!!!

I drive by this 2-3 times a day and night, never see anything out of the way, no "extra lights" or "movements". This is at all hours of the day and night when I drive by. No strange feelings, actually you have to stop by it because of the stop sign. I believe this story was made up because of the owner may have ran out of money to finish the house. If true, maybe ghost could be friendly - apparently the lady ran out and didn't stay to check it out.

it is haunted... the people who own the house, their parents go to church w/ me... the wife will not go back to the house! i've heard some crazy stories & they say that so far either 7 or 8 spirits have been identified! also like an old civil war hat was found in the house!

i have heard the stories also. it is very creepy. its very sad that such a beautiful house cannot be enjoyed. i used to deliver meals on wheels with my grandparents and the sweetest old lady and her brother lived there. this was around 2001-2005. she loved showing the house off to us and gave us a tour every time we came in. BUT we Never went upstairs even if we asked she would politely decline. someone above said above that the house was not lived in and they snuck in but that is untrue. the brother and sister actually grew up there and keep ownership until just a few years ago. it is very creepy and i hope it can be fixed because its a part of dresdens wonderful history.

I have lived here my entire life and have NEVER heard anything about it being haunted until recently. I think it was a money thing.

I've been here for almost 30 yrs and always heard of the "hauntings". I heard of one family that up and left right in the middle of their supper. The food and dishes were there when the next people came in. Just like the people left them.

there is no activity downstairs... it's all upstairs!

Give me all the skittles you want, it's what I've heard, just like the rest of you. Not one of you knows for sure if the house is haunted or not. As for me, I'd stay a few nights if I could. I find it fasinating.

i wouldn't stay the night or anything but i would definitely want to go check it out!

I would like to go and check it out too... but I don't think it is really haunted. Just my opinion. Very interesting for sure!

Probably a bunch of Folklore. But I'd still spend a couple of nites. Wonder who someone could contact to get permission? It's still empty isn't it?

i'm pretty sure its empty... the guy who owns it is about to deploy to iraq & his wife won't even consider going back in the house!!!
