Inside was a note that said "come see me, I want to give you a million dollars before I die"

Isn't the post office wonderful?
Kramer was right; we don't need the USPS. |
I have the same mailman in my neighborhood. I get my neighbors mail all the time.
Let's see it takes almost 100 years to get a postcard, thank God it wasn't a package.

I wish that card had eye & ears. The things it's prob. seen! 93 years?! Oy.
Wow!
it was probably stuck in the post office spam filter.

Santa Claus is comin' to town..but we can't wait 93 years....Not much of improvement as I see it...relatively speaking....

HELLO, NEWMAN !
HELLO, JERRY... |

This story is a hoax. Every few years around the holidays, newspapers print these goofy stories that make everyone melt. Give me a break.
easy... go to an antique shop, buy an old postcard, slip it into a mailbox during holiday season, and you have, like Mr Pink said, that too often recurring cheesy story.
THANK YOU. A VOICE OF REASON. |

"It just appeared out of nowhere after 93 years" Yeah right! How effing stupid!
Great idea. In fact, we have old postcards here. With that great faded fountain pen ink. I think I'll send one out and see what happens. Nah, that would be 'cheesy'.:) |

please, is this supposed to make us smile, say "awww the postal service is all about the human touch and getting mail to the rightful ownder no matter how long it takes"? My neighbors get more of my mail than I do, so I'm sure that card would have been thrown away years ago. Like most of my bills that are mis-delivered. Humbug.

I think Sharpton was the one to blame.

... or a puppy |

who dreams uo this stuff?

God, I read these comments to figure out what people could find to say about a story like this. Most of you are seriously jaded. Yeah, could be a hoax, or may not be, but with all the crap we hear about in the news, it's a little nice to hear that some old lady's day may have been brightened. I think it is probably true. Probably was delivered in error to wrong person, and it ended up in some attic or antique store until some scavenger found it. How's that for logic?
Some mailmen keep mail from other people (which is stupid) and if this story is true, i bet you a mailmen kept it, i mean why else would it take so long to receive?
