Bucks jury to continue deliberations in threats case

This is incredibly scary. How easy will it be for students to set up a teacher they may not like and send them to prison for 73 years?

I hope one of them has some kind of conscious. But I'm more apt to believe that the attitude of a lot of kids today would make them think,'well she's got cancer and won't be around long anyway, so why should we step up and face the consequences'.

Sad sad sad. I hope she appeals!

I don't know, while I do believe the jury shouldn't have convicted her on circumstancial evidence, I read one article in which other teachers had said she was a little off. No, that of course doesn't mean she is guilty of all of this, but I also read where someone at a school party made an off color remark about a bomb going off and she was the only one to laugh about it. I don't think she is all there in her head, but to get sentenced like this is a bit wrong and unjust.

It was on the tv, that she does have to go for a mental evaluation. I, too, hope she appeals.

*She was observed at the spots the notes appeared moments before they were discovered by different people.
*How on earth would kids who are constantly watched by a multitude of adults follow her around all day, month after month without being noticed???
*Even less likely is the idea that no adult would have noticed these kids in off-limits areas when there was someone there who saw Romanyszyn.
*Those other teachers know their colleague and if she was the sort of person who was truly incapable of this they would have taken to the streets in her defense.
As for me, I'm just glad they've removed one more dangerous adult from children's lives.

Oh here you go again, "ANGRY", she LIED, FLAT OUT LIED, and when told they had her on video being where she said she wasnt....SHE STILL DENIED BEING THERE! Thats why, the evidence was overwhelming, and you were saying how if she was found not guilty, that she should sue everyone, and there mothers, well i guess she wont be suing anyone, every student and there parents should sue her! And im wondering if this woman even has cancer?????? if she does thats horrible, i do not wish that upon anyone, but the fact that this woman is a LIAR, would make me think that maybe she doesnt even have cancer??????/

and when does a jury goto deliberation from 4:30 pm till midnight and i bet the judge was sitting at home getting drunk during that time...

I think all of you who think this lady is innocent need to go over the evidence again, why would she have to lie to the police, a TEACHER.....FLAT OUT LIE???? explain that to me/??? AND FOR THE HANDWRITING EXPERT,.....who was paid $850 by the defense, i mean are you people for real???? of course they are going to say it wasnt her, anyone can try and make it look like a childs handwriting, i mean please, you can so wheres the evidence all day, the jury saw right thru this, PROVEN LIAR!

That has to be one of the dumbest comments i have ever seen in my life, why the he** would 4th graders conspire to set up a teacher, there only worried about how close they get to the stage at the hannah montana concert, you people make me laugh, idiots!

are you reading what your typing???? SO your saying that this woman was set up by 4th grade students and teachers and staff, and that the jury was paid off???? You have got to be one crazy bird to even begin to think that anything you have just typed could in any way be true! the tape was looped???? even if it was, how would they loop her to an area in which when questioned by the police she denied being there, when the tape shows her there?? why would she lie several times?? and how would a random jury be part of this so called conspiracy?? and a jury goes into deliberatioon after the defense and prosecutiuon rests! what do you think it is, banking hours, and who cares if the judge was at home getting drunk, he didnt find her guilty, 12 people did, 12 random people, who listened to testimony for several days, from both sides, man WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE SMOKING ? Get real, get over it and get gone, because justice was served,just becasue your mad and think because there wasnt a smoking gun that all the other details are moot? i bet you would change your tone if the case was about a scumbag husband whos wife disappeared after she told her family she was divorcing him but a body was never found and he was found innocent of any wrongdoing! you people need a reality check and should probably look at all the details inside and out before getting mad cuz your friend wasnt caught in the act, but was caught because the evidence pointed at her from all directions!

I don't know the women at all. I don't know the school district. But I have seen 4th graders who are capable of more misdeeds than storming a hannah montana stage. And I've seen adults in cliques make all kinds of assumptions about people outside of their clique.

If someone ELSE made an off color joke about a bomb she's the ONLY odd one because she chuckled? What about the person who made the comment in the first place?

I don't know whether she's guilty or not. What scares me is that in this country you are supposed to be proven guilty without a reasonable doubt.

But I guess I understand how that can be tossed to the wind based upon the comments I'm seeing and the attacks made on the people who commented about those doubts.

But there you go, the circumstantial evidence of me commenting on a message board with a particular view must make me guilty of being her friend. HA!

I guess by that logic everyone commenting the other way must be a juror or one of the other teachers.
