This is why police should enforce the underage drinking laws that are in place.... ie LU last week 19 arrested.
And over 75 people blogged on this site that they didn't see any problem with underage drinking.....
They are not responsible for their actions.... that why... they are too young!!!!!!!!!!

irresponsible actions as a result of excessive drinking are not limited to any age group...excessive drinking is irresponsible behavior whether you are 19 or 59...

Agreed, my point being, that most blogg's stated that it was ok and they condoned these actions and blamed the police for their actions.

Yeah. Did you even know Chris.
No.
You didn't.
You have no idea the things he dealt with or who he was.
Granted underage drinking is wrong, but do you know he was even drunk?
No. You don't.
People like you fucking disgust me.
Don't make comments about someone you don't know.
He was a sweet kid.
So how dare you say anything.
My deepest sympathies to his family.
I know we all miss him.

This is going to really impact the school. Everyone has been talking about the attack last week and I know this will make a large dent in most students minds. Chris might have made a mistake but his family never deserived to lose their child at such a young age. I really hope that this atleast makes the students think about what they are doing when they are not in class.

underage drinking has nothing to do with it. This kid was 21 years old so legally he is allowed to drink, the problem is responsibility when drinking which most kids don't have. This is so sad for the Kutztown community.

did you read the article or just post??????

Christopher Reynolds, 21, of Downingtown, Chester County, was hit near N. Main and Railroad streets as he walked just outside the rails, said Patrolman Peter V. Nickischer of Berks-Lehigh Regional police.

''He's walking toward the train and kind of stumbling,'' Nickischer said.

Nickischer said the conductor was unable to stop in time despite having slowed from 50 mph to 22 mph after receiving an earlier report that two men, both possibly intoxicated, were trespassing on the tracks.

and if he wasnt drunk how hard is it to step away from a train? its not like the train can turn into this kid its on tracks........

all schools are now party schools! you are crazy for saying it is just Kutztown. Its not even the biggest party school! i went there and came out just fine, if your child is smart and has been raised correctly he will know not to get involved in things that are not good for them! its all about peer pressure, i know how to rise above that, does your child??

I graduated from Kutztown in 2006. I was there for 4 yrs, and never once did I attend a party there. I didn't go to college to party and be an idiot and get myself into all kinds of trouble. No matter what college your kids go to, if they want to party, they will party. If that is what they are looking for, that is what they will find. Where they choose to go to school has nothing to do with it, it is the mindset they are taking with them when they go.

I'm going to apply to KU's Mortuary Sciences Program.

As long as kids don't stop this binge drinking and partying, business will be good.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Leo

If you ask someone to give you a hand today, don't be surprised if they make a mess of it. That's probably because their mind isn't on the job, but it might also be because your instructions aren't as clear as usual. So before you get angry, check that what you said made sense. Relations with someone older or more influential than you could also be blighted by confusion or doubt now.
