THAT'S why schools stopped disciplining their students. But they wouldn't have to if their parents did their job.

I'd love to go on, but I'm sure you got the point. Seriously, thank you for saying this... IT IS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY... after all, the teachers didnt tell the parents to have kids in the first place, so why should teachers get all the crap for parents ignoring their children... I just have to say that it is sad that when the society is screwed up, the teachers are to blame... but when the society is looking great, teachers get no credit for it...

I remember going to Junior high in 87-88. There were some cool school security and some Skanless. I don't know how those chumps would get away with slamming someones kids on the hood of the car or grabbing them by the neck becuase they looked like gang bangers or were caught ditching. People label these kids aand trat them like crap and these kids become angry and all they are labeled to be. REACH OUT to them if you want to make a differnece and not put them down..You don't know what they are going through. Fletcher and Louie were so mean to kids and ithers but I can't remember names..KIDS need to speak up about people like this too. Some thing they deserve it or that it's normal but it's not..

I live in Long Beach, but my grandmother still goes to her doctor in Lynwood. I was born there and three generations called that city "home". On one of my grandmas doctor's visits I walked around, and was very pleasantly surprised. The city, at least on the north near St. Francis Medical Center, looks great. The city park area is beautiful. What is so nice that as far as I can see, Lynwood is a shining star in the area, even as nice as South Gate which used to be a lot nicer! So, keep up the good work, Lynwood!
