Haunted Homes in Downey.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about sears in downey mall. It used to be a broadway. i dont know about facts but rumor is that during the fire in broadway there was some kids that died on the second floor and a woman too. but i cant seem to find anything. i myself have had personal experiences and have heard childrens laughter and have seen a blond woman while the store was closed.

Don't worry Nadia it is probably just a couple of human spirits there are alot of them in the downey area it doesn't mean that they died in the mall they could be old spirits of people who lived and died in the area were the mall is today even before it was built.there could of been an old house or a ranch were the mall is today.if what ever you see in the mall doesn't communicate with you don't be scared it is just energy left behind of the people from that area who have passed on.but if it tries to communicate it is like I said just a couple of human spirits trying to be noticed but in rare cases which I doubt but is always good to know sometimes the haunting could be poltergeist activity which is very scary or even rare is a demonic haunting which is dangerous.

has any one been to the Rachos los amigos abandon hospital??? if so how can you acsess it???

I am from Baldwin Park too. Do you know of any information of a house in the city where renters do not stay long at all? I have been here since 73 so it had to be something before then.

I been living in Downey for 13 years already, occasionaly I see shape like human shadows in my house. Not only do I see them, my daughters see them as well. Sometimes they are so clear that one time my older daughter and I canfused one of the shadowns with my youngest daughter. It was scary because we both saw her at diffrent times in the house. I guess a lot of things happened in Downey back in the days. I've heard that there was once a child massacre around Downey and Firestone, and that, that's why the business around that area never get alot of business. Then again they are just stories, I guess we can find out more in the Downey Library.

the place is fN awesome its pretty big theres stairs to the roof of one of the buildings and the inside is just trashed with taggings and everything. last time i went i got kick out by the cops they say theres alot of bacteria in the hospital. Downey Pd got very strict on people get in. if you want to see a video on it go on YouTube they have Plenty of video of the hospital!!

Does anyone know if something happened at this address? 7654 Calmcrest Dr. Downey, CA. Since I moved in 3 yrs ago I have seen a tall shadow of a large male person, and hear people wispering in my bedroom. I hear foot steps threw out the house. Know my family is starting to feel things that I've never mentioned to them before. My fiance is exp. lights being turned on after he turns them off. Radio is turned off continuosly. Please someone help me....

dont know what happened there but like what everyones saying go to the Downey City Library maybe you could find some books about haunted houses in downey

I lived in Downey for 17 years or so. More than enough times have I personally seen apparitions in Downey. My last residence on Gainford had quite a bit of activity. But nothing like my ex-girlfriend's house when I was in high school. It was a weekly occurance of a women in a white dress in front of her house and many times in her bedroom.
We learned to live with it as she never caused any problems.
I've been to the abandoned hospital in 1996. Defintely spooky, but I never witnessed anything.
