what do you mean??? If your old enough to commit a crime like stealing at knive point, stabbing someone multiple times, running his leg over, stealing a car, hit and run,and leaving a scene of an accident I think all those actions are considered ADULT CRIMES. Put yourself in the shoes of the 19 year old victim.

Are you stupid? The problem is that everyone gets off so easy for crimes. I don't care how old the person is. If they can be so evil to stab a human than the courts should be so easy to convict. Too much crime. Keep the crime down in our city of downey.

sorry but gangsters are ruining our city. Downey USE to be SAFE. I have done so much around the community, as a kid, youth sports, middle school and hs sports, and now coaching. its sad to see the innocent people around here fall victim to these insane acts, and statistics are gangsters, shaved heads, cholos!! and YES they should spend the rest of their missarable lifes in prison

yeah maybe they know right from wrong but what about peer presure, proving a point, or just wanting to fit in? Most teens think they have to crazy things to fit in and when its happens the situation gets out of control,then what?

Keep the crime down in our city of downey. seriously... i cant believe some of the responses i have read but this one just kills me! the chances for teens in adult facilities are deadly, they are more likely to commit suicide and end up back in jail, and even commiting more devestating crimes in the future. Are you seriously telling us that a teen deserves to be raped and beaten for an act they commited. Maybe you are not aware of what adults locked up for years do to teens. And even if the teen commited the worse crime ever perhaps you also didnt know that the aversage man's brain doesnt complete growing until he is in his mi 30's and for females late20's/early 30's...so maybe you should get familiar with this topic before you assume the government should lock our youth up and forget about them!!!!
