No!!! The board was looking for an excuse to get Joe out. You (Joe) give millions back to the school you work for, you do do much for that same school and all of college football, your by far the greatest coach EVER... Then when you hear about some crazy information, you turn it over to your boss like you should have!! They you get publicly humiliated and fired!!! There is no way that should have happened to Joe!!

Only when we take a wide view of our fallen estate can we realize in an adequate way the complete havoc that has been wrought by sin, or the fulness of God's answer to it all which reaches us in the Gospel. We have already seen that sin has brought in:—
guilt, and so forgiveness must reach us;
condemnation, so justification is needed;
bondage, and we need redemption;
alienation from God, so we need reconciliation;
peril of many kinds, so we need salvation;
profanation and pollution, so we need sanctification;
corruption, which has affected the deepest springs of our nature, so we need the new birth.
We have now to see that it has plunged us into spiritual death, and we must be quickened if we are to live to God.
Our state is set forth in Ephesians 2: 1, as "dead in trespasses and sins." The next verse remarkably enough goes on to speak of walking in those trespasses and sins; but that is because the death there spoken of is death towards God. Those who are dead Godward are very much alive to "the course of this world," and "the prince of the power of the air

He needed to go! He should have done the right thing when he found out about, but didn't. It's a shame, even though he had nothing to do with the abuse, he ruined his reputation forever.

Don't be surprised if Sandusky doesn't take a bullet way out. All of them from Joe to Spanier are hoping he does it to end the scandal.

No one ever accused the judge of setting him free with no bail was a smart choice. Locked up and a suicide watch would have been the smarter way to make sure they have a live person at trial instead of the sound of "case dismissed ,the accused isn't alive to offer a defense"

Then we get to start all over again with We Are Penn State.

McQ told Joe the morning after,what else did he have to know? Joe knew he had a sicko hanging around and didn't call the police. Nuff said!

" I should have done more" ? About what ?

Making dinner. McQuery and his father were jerks for not calling the police and recording the conversation he had with Paterno.

If true, I hope a jury will believe the kids. If not, it gets thrown out of court.

Joe did the right thing acting on hear say. Mcqueey should have gone to the police right away. The victims should have reported it to the police right away. The fact that it took so long to come out, and Mcquery changing his story 3 times... Makes this whole mess stink to high heaven!

Mc Query sounds more and more like a big kid that didn't grow up yet. You're right and he did all the wrong things . Born and raised in the middle of Penn State with the auro that surrounds it. Played in golf tourneys with Sandusky for second mile to raise money. Enough $$ was never enough and they should freeze Second mile assets. Let's see how Corbett dances around this scandal.

LOL! Denial - A river in Africa.

You people are so desperate, if Joe had a bunch of kiddie porn in his desk drawer, you'd say he was just collecting evidence for the police. HA HA HA.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Scorpio

You need a little light relief at the moment and one of the best ways to find it today is to get together with someone who always makes you laugh. You might even want to tell them what's going on in your life at the moment so you can get their perspective on it. This will help to keep your feet on the ground and then you won't feel quite so miserable or beset by problems.
