Police still not sure who was driving in fatal crash

Thank God Jeff will never have another chance to hurt an innocent person. This guy was clearly a serious idiot.

OK now read this very carefully if Doolittle was trapped inside how was he taken to Harrisburg hospital by another person n vehicle? its a little wrong here JJ Martin was trapped with Amanda n he is in Hershey not York hospital n his parents were down today and stated they don't think he is gonna make it

jeffrey was not driving Doolittle was. Doolittle left the scene and went to a hospital with a relative and left the other 3 people in the car to die

I was confused by this article, too...i wondered how this guy could've fled if he was trapped inside. I don't understand how he could've gotten away after being thrown from the vehicle, either. Such a sad story. Condolences to all who are close to these people.

Lock all the idiots up just to be sure.

No matter how you put it, no matter who is at fault, this is a tragedy. A human life was lost needlessly and another may very well die. Police are not sure at this point WHO was driving so why are any of you judging what happened without having all the facts!

I don't think it takes too much detective work to determine who the driver was. Why would someone leave the scene and go in a private car if he didn't have anything to hide?

I grew up with a few Doolittles in the Dover area...and they may be a bit rowdy once in a while, they're just as good of folks as the moron who is lashing out at one of them!
(Instead of thinking about the poor folks who may Love and care about those three who were injured and those whom lost that young man) Hope that none of your close friends or family members ever get into an accident, folks might call them foul names - in a great time of loss or concern, How would you feel?

Doolittle left the scene?? And left his friends there to die?? What an A-hole, they should charge him with leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to render aid to victims. Wow, some friend!

Great sermon honey, but this has been going on since the beginning of time. My uncles cousin was killed when he rode that first wheel down the hill. Young folks are just that, young, invincible and vulnerable. With proper training, the military runs them into a hail of bullet and they ask no questions. Been there, done that, also.
One of the unfortunates of life...will continue as long as there are kids. Pray for guidance, more so, LUCK, with my/your family.
Past 18, if WE did not do the job by then, not much going to change them. Check the papers in the morning. Unfortunately, not the last of such incidents; then the grandkids come along, and it begins all over.

i had to sit down and tell my daughter that she was never gonna see her daddy again SHES 4 YRS OLD!!!! and im prayin for jj and amanda everyday..i feel so sorry for her jj and my nephew and jjs son and his mother...honestly fuck steve doolittle he shoulda been the only person that was killed cuz hes an idiot...i watch jeff and amandas mom break down every 10 seconds and my daughter is left to grow up with no daddy...so haterz shut up steve doolittle will pay for this...weither its jail or the dellinger family he will get his...PRAYING FOR THE DELLINGER FAMILY...i will alwayz love every1 of you

I'm so sorry. I couldn't even imagine what you are going through right now. Jeff was a good guy, even if people didn't think so. I grew up with him and worked with him at the carnival. I saw him do good things for people, they were just shadowed by the bad things he did. He wasn't perfect, but no one is. God bless you and the Dellinger family. He will be missed.

Nykki I am so sorry to hear about Alianna's loss. I didn't know Jeffrey,but I do know Amanda we worked at the carnival about 3 years ago.I also went to school with your sister and thats how I heard about the accident. I could never imagine what you guys are all going through. My prayers are with you all. I am so sorry your little girl now has to grow up without her father... Again my prayers are with you.

Right on Holly! Everyone, just wait until the police are finished with their investigation. But certainly someone in that vehicle knows. The aunts/cousins/neighbors fighting/arguing/threatening when they should all be getting together as a family. Sure takes the onus off downtown folks, as this display will be mentioned when posters begin hammering the city folks. Why air your dirty laundry at a time like this, and especially on an open forum. A tightly knit family would never act in this manner for all of us to witness.
