I'm also certain that both the Detective and Sheriff both know the identity of the man in the video. But Pope has final say and he said to leave it alone and not pursue this man or a warrant for his arrest. If that's a lie it came out of Pope's own employees mouth.

but if it was someone who wasnt a bg wig..or had a previous record the state would pick up the charges even if the owner doesnt want to prosecute, the state vs. the defendant..state money from fines is what supports our state... it amazes me why some people sit in jail for having a previous, and some just stroll on because of thier namer or heritage!

Why is no one calling the Sheriff's Department? If you think you know who it is or who it might be...call the law or call Jerry P and let him tell the police the name. Jerry and Michael apparently had never seen the man before...makes me think he's not even from Coffee County. If you know who it is and want "tell"...you're just as bad as the crook.
