I was in the store, they busted some ass speeding in the parking lot. Almost hit 2 people because every ass out there thinks its a raceway.

People drive thru there like its a raceway. Pedestrians have the right of way. If you are caught speeding they can ticket you now. Both stores have put a request in with the city PD that allows us to ticket those who 1- cut through the lot to avoid the light by Wendy's and 2- those who speed. If they get your plate. We can issue a ticket. There will also be more monitoring of that area for the next several weeks

Got my first ticket yesterday in there by GSP so yeah. I drove through there when 2 State patrol officers were coming from Tokyo Express. Both pulled me over by McDonalds 47 in a 15mph. Fair warning to all.

I was told by my dad (who is a deputy) that if you are caught cutting thorugh a parking lot just to beat a redlight you could be ticketed. I did it before on my way to school I would cut through the parking lot of a convience store tobeat a long redlight and one of the cop friends saw me do it and told him.

Law enforcement can not give a "speeding ticket" in a private parking lot unless you were speeding on the public roadway. They can follow you to the parking lot. They can also write you a ticket for avoiding a traffic signal if you cut through that parking lot.

There is a form that a business can fill out to have road rules apply in a public parking lot. Big Lots and TSC have both filed for this to do in effect on July 4th of this year. Too many people drive fast and don't pay attention. Francis Lott owns that parking lot and from I have been told, he's looking onto putting the speed bumps back in.

The paper had big headlines Lott gives property back to bank. now if it had been me they would have said the ole girl lost everything to the bank. So recheck,last I knew FL had lost the properties.

MY dad was a Deputy also,until he retired a few years back.Use to get told on myself from his friends.If I was out late,like it was any of there business lol.We lived in Atlanta Ga.So I know how having a Deputy for a dad can be...But very PROUD of my dad, he was one of the BEST officers out there.He worked a lil over 40 years,Protecting and serving.

I have been known to cut through to get to the board office since you can't make a left at the red light in by Arby's to get there.
Think about it the next available road is down by taco bell to get back to it.
I think a people should have to take a drivers exam everytime they get license renewed.
