Did this woman have access to the support she needed? Was an abortion too expensive and/or the clinic too far away? What was her home situation? What must her mindset have been to do this? She must have been in a terrible situation personally. Only horrible circumstances could drive a person to do this. This woman deserves compassion. Was she tested for post-partum depression or any other mental conditions? At any rate, this was a crime of passion and she is not a danger to society.
