Crooked Dothan Cops

How come everyone knows how shady, crooked, and illegal the Dothan Police are but nobody is doing anything about it??

I agree Bill something needs to be done about it but i don't think anything will.

I have heard numerous rumors from a lot of people about the Enterprise and Dothan cops engaging in illegal activities and drugs. It blows my mind that the mayor or anyone else appointed higher up won't step forward and say/do anything about it. I don't think anything is going to change until some "out-of-towners" come in and take over sort of speak. In the mean time it is only going to get worse. A LOT WORSE. You have to take into account though the prerequisites for being a police officer. you don't have to have ANY kind of education, and most of the people that are cops are the people that were bullied around as kids and made fun of that now have a chip on their shoulders and like to have a sense of power.

When all crooks are in jail, we will no longer have any cops!

if this is really going on in dothan then you know that the top dogs know it to. this is no different than organized crime, hey i have an idea, lets report them to crimestoppers and get a reward.

Geneva police are far worse about overlooking drug activities.

I would like to let the ones know that busted out my front windows on my house with a brick, and also all the eggs busted but one..........yes that was on Halloween Night, i am sure it is still fresh on ur minds.......... come back by and I will gladlyyyyyyyyyy return ur bricks as i know you prob wanna use em to throw at somebody elses house!

Dothan cops busted out your windows? That is crazy garbage! I will be happy to help you return the bricks to the dirtbag cops. Like SFC E said, shit isn't going to change until out-of-towners take over and put a stop the the "cowboy" ways of the Dothan cops. Maybe then the entire force will be replaced and there will actually be law abiding, moral, and ethic police officers that actually want to protect and serve while at the same time following the laws and rules. I am sure there is a small (very small) handfull of good (by good i mean law abiding)cops in Dothan but they are just as guilty as the bad ones because you know that they have an idea of what's going on. I personally know a couple of people that have done/dealt drugs with more than 1 of the Dothan Police officers.

I agree with you all about dothan. I have never been so disappointed in the system. They really needed to make an arrest and picked the first ones they came up on, with no evidence to support their allegations. Again what happen to innocence until proven guilty?

I can not believe all this ranting and raving about crooked cops. All your info is heresay, which is NOT fact! I am sure there may be a couple crooked ones but I am certain the majority of cops are honest and willing to risk there lives for all of us. And don't forget, these "crooked cops" as you call them will be the first ones you call when trouble comes your way. I support all the men and women of Law Enforcement!

When I married "one of Dothan's finest" I truly believed people did not give enough respect to the guys who risked their lives everyday for our safety. I stood by my husband and all his fellow officers valiantly. I loved those guys...going so far as to cook special treats for them on special occasions. It all changed when I had to call on those same guys to help me & my children who they all claimed to love so much. When you're beaten down & broken in your kitchen floor from the hands of their Corporal you're no longer loved. You're told that "he's just been under alot of stress lately" I got out but these days I'd believe any & everything corrupt about "Dothan's finest" and their "good 'ol boy system"

my cousin was just arrested for murder because he was running from the cops and wrecked and killed a man. but what the dothan cops failedto say is thay rear- ended him and pushed him into the other car. so now he is in houston county jail for murder.

tis is nonsense an innocent 19 year old is sitting in jail due to dothan police and their stupity blaming a 19 yr old for murder when there the ones who really murder the man that got killed not my cousin in law and thats pretty much all i have to say

For those of us who know and love Phillip we know he is not a murderer. Teens make mistakes, some pay a heavy price and others are allowed to continue to run the streets. Phillip is a kind hearted person and would never have done this had it not been for the alcohol provided for him. So let's call it what is really is "Satan having a field day with our Youth", When will we stand up and realize that we need to live our lives as a example to the "Lord Our God".
