Patty I have no idea what it was,my 18 year old daughter and I was Driving home,and we both seen the the same thing.it looked like a green fireball.I'm surprised there isn't more talk about it.

There was a large airplane going across the sky. Suddenly a sort of very bright lime green light just appears. It shoots down toward the plane very fast then just goes out. I pulled over on the side of the road to see if anyone else saw it. No one seemed to notice.
