In reading this entire thread, I find myself disappointed in what I've seen. The fact that any of this violence happened in the first place is sad and horrendous. However to top the violence off with racism is even worse. Even before black folks started moving in to the area Antioch was riddled with drug abuse (namely methamphetamines) and violence related to this drug abuse. I suppose the Antioch police force never came into existence until after the population of black people elevated? All I'm saying is this; it's awful when anything bad happens, but to attribute the entire downhill slide of an area to one group of people based on race is wrong. There are grossly behaved people of all races. Group all the "bad" people together if you like (that's realistic and logical) but the race card needs to be dropped. I'd be really interested to hear what you guys think about being in a country that's now under the presidential reign of a black person. BTW, does all this racist gibberish make you feel more in control? Even better; does it take back the wrong that happened? What's your take on a situation when the culprit is white? What's wrong with with Jeffrey Dahmer or Ted Bundy? Can you blame their murders on their race? I look forward to responses if any of you have one...
