Police say three teens tried to break into a home in decatur Tuesday morning. Police also tell WHNT News 19 14 year-old Taveon Mason was shot and killed at the home on 5th Avenue in South Decatur.

This is so fishy , that man has changed his story up about at least 4 or 5 times...this isn't fair ! people always trying to say shit and don't even know what the fuck they talkin' about ! SHUT UP ! has it not ever came to your mind that this family is going through enough ? the least you could do is pray & keep your mouths closed ! sudden death is a very hard thing to deal with ! SO people just mind your own damn business...don't have anything positive to say then keep quiet , i do believe there's enough negativity here already ( RiP tA'VEON ), lOVE YOU bRUh.

Thats Terrible,nobody deserves to die at suck a young age. Why did that man have a gun right beside him anyways. did he have a license for it? i mean seriously was he threatned by a child? i feel for their family i know what it is like to loose someone on a sudden and that is your brother my prayers go out to his family i think this is absoutely CRAZY!

Read the story spook! He was sleeping with a gun because he had been broken into before and all his shit was took. As far as him shooting a child, he didnt. A child becomes a man when he decides to break someones window out and go crawling in to steal things. I'm sorry for the death but he would have gotten the same thing at my house. By the way, you dont have to have a liscense to have a gun in your house, only to carry it concealed.
