Gun-control advocates stupid, cowardly; weapons don't kill:

I could not agree more with this commentary. The anti-gun crowd are willfully ignorant, deceiving liars who thrive on the horrible deaths of others (especially children) in order to further their aims and they love their 1st Amendment rights while hating the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights of gun owners. To the gun-grabbers, everyone who owns a gun is sub-human and not deserving of any rights or privacy.

Years ago I heard on a national talk radio show that the Library of Congress received a request from the Senator (have forgotten his name) that co-sponsored Bill Clinton's notorious "Crime Bill," that included the gun ban. The Senator's staff requested an English translation of Adolph Hitler's 1933 gun law.

It was not Hitler's law. He merely used an existing law to disarm the people. The law was passed by the Weimar Republic in 1928 prior to Hitler becoming Chancellor.

In Scotland, I think in '98, a perv named Hamilton shot 17 or 18 children, leading Britain to enact the world's tightest gun laws. This created heaven on earth- right? Well, not hardly. During the next 2 years, crime went through the roof. Recently, England leads the world in knife attacks, per capita. The liberals do not understand that if knives are banned, that the bad guys will start using wooden clubs or even rocks to bash in people's heads ...Killers are going to murder, even if they have to use their bare hands. Guns give the average man, and woman, an even chance of protecting their own lives & property.

British criminals are getting full-auto weapons smuggled in from Eastern Europe according to Interpol. Smuggling has always been a national sport in UK. Now it turns even more deadly.

Smooth move taking away the law abiding people's guns and right to defend themselves Parliament! Kudos! I am sure that criminals through out the island thank you.

It is called selective reality. They either ignore DC, Chicago, NYC, LA and other places with draconian anti-gun laws or they blame the crime on other (low-crime) areas that allow citizens to own and carry firearms. Either way, they fail to see that it is their laws that strip the citizen of his right to defend himself that emboldens the criminals.

It is the classic Liberal/Socialist failing. Nothing is ever their fault. No matter what they do, if only someone else was more tractable, more willing to give up their rights to follow the Lib/Soc lead, everything would be perfect. Even when the whole of society is under their thrall, they somehow twist reality and blame others for the failings of their own making.
