If you want to quit Hammon you'll quiit. You did it and I did it also. I don't approve of spending ourt tax dollars trying to help out people that have destroyed their own health becaucce they didn't want to go through a little discomfort.. If yopu really want to do some good pass some laws that will stop smoking in all public places.

Amanda, you are a day late and a dollar short on this one. Medicaid Alabama already covers bariatric surgery (gastric bypass / lap band) if you are clinically obease, and have supporting documentation.

This is such a stupid idea, another reward for bad behavior, if people can afford cigarettes they can afford treatment to stop smoking.

Maybe Obama the Traitor should stop smoking first and set the example for the rest of us.

Cheaper idea. For the smokers on Medicaid, just consider that a pre-existing chronic health problem, and do not cover any lung illnesses. I used to work for a pulmonologist (lung specialist), and you would not believe the number of people who saw him that continued to smoke. I quit 3 plus years ago, cold turkey, and if I can do it, I'm sure there are others out there who can also do it. American from Smyrna GA, keep Obama out of this. Get over voting for a LOSER!

Is Hammon a Liberal or conservative??
He wants to take sudafed off shelves so we go from paying 3.00 to hundreds for cold medicine and now wants to take working peoples tax dollars and give to people that smoke?
WAKE UP CONSERVATIVES!!!!!!!!
Should pass a biil if u have a self inflicted medical problem your not covered at all. Would this not be better for the tax payers?
This is the biggest liberal in Alabama just look at all the STUFF that has been put out by him this week along.
