Interior secretary announces $500M for tribes

That's not anywhere near enough. These the only TRUE Ameriacans. You want to talk about a people who REALLY got screwed. You want to talk about people who deserve reparations. Think about this. Your sitting at the dinner table with your family enjoying supper, all at once the door gets kicked in; they come in through the windows and before you can say FBI a throng of federal agents and soldgiers are pointing guns at you and your family demanding you get out right now. I mean right now with NONE of your belongings, cloths, anything and if you don't thier going to kill you on the spot and you have NO recourse. They take you outside and you see the samething happening to others in your neighborhood. You watch as one of your best friends complains and he's shot dead right in front of his family. They then proceed to kill the rest of the family. Your then rounded up and taken to a new place and they tell you this is going to be your new home. You have absolutley no say in anything that happens to you or your family. Anyone who protests is killed right there usually along with the rest of thier family. Does this sound like something out of a worst nighmare movie? Well that's exactly what WE did the The American Indians. Oh yea they tried treaties. Those treaties were as worthless as the paper they were witten on. There's a whole lot more to the story and events, but that's basically what happened. WE came in threw the natives out of thier homes and told them where and how to live. What they could eat and probably in the long term the worst thing next to all but eradicating them was giving them alcohol. It stole thier pride, dignity, and made them easy targets for the deceptive palefaces.$500 mil ain't even a drop in the bucket.

Heck yeah I agree... To the fullest.. thats exactly how some of use really feel!!! its about god dang time some one stood up and finally said SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!
