1 it was the method used to harvest the animal that was not right. spotlighting is not a legal method. harvesting deer while run by dogs is not a legal method. true hunters enjoy the legal method. and fair chase. to these people fair chase is something different. it means going sucker gigging and only gigging walleye and flat head.to them fair chase means blinding them and aiming at the shinning eyes and shooting. to them fair chase means sicking 15 hounds on a 50 pound spotted fawn and running it till it cant go any farther and then shooting it. these people simply dont get it! they got through life cheating and taking shortcuts. they may wear camo. they have guns. they fly rebel flags. but if they poach they really arent fairly hunting. in the end its just plain cheating. |

Yea but to bad we have narks like tyler watkins.... them boys wouldve never got caught if it wasn't for that narcing son of a bi*ch. Yea they are going to learn there lesson, prison time!!! And i think it is f*cking dumb to have laws where you cant kill a deer period in season or out.... how many ppl kill dears with their cars/trucks? maybe if they let us shoot the sons of bit*hes then we wouldn't have to worry bout them being in the road all the da*n time!!!!!!!!
|
||||
Maybe. instead of spending so much time illegally killing deer, you should return to school? Geez, man, learn to spell! Truly, bred, family are the correct way. |

I should have just waited to comment until I read from more of you dog running idiots. Can't any of you spell? Good lord, this is so hard to read!!

1 They took one of my dogs that I had for a pet and trained himn to run deer. They really liked him because he was part bassett and wouldn't run them so fast. He would mainly just circle them. Family also had one dog that would run them to the river no matter where it started. Have also heard family members tell of the dogs catching the deer. I never saw that, but they told it for the truth. The last time I was around the ones using dogs, I saw just how crazy they were getting. They had outgrown the old way of using dogs and were using 4-wheeler, radios, 4x4 trucks to keep up with the dog and the deer. They would run over you if you weren't real careful. If it crossed the road they were on they would shoot, didn't seem to matter if someone else was on that road real close or not. I guess I had been away too long from dog running and discovered that not using the dogs, I was able to kill better deer. I think the dogs just need to be left at home. Train the dogs to catch the coyotes. I like to see them things dead. You used to see guys showing them off running through town, but it has been a long time since I saw someone with one. Dogs don't know what a coyote is? |

Actually, our road kills are much less than many other states. Deer are going to cross the road, regardless of how many there are. As for people that tell... I'm glad someone has the balls to do it. There are laws for a reason, and the reason why you cannot hunt out of season is because they need to have time to raise their young so we will have some for the next year. By the time bow season ends, bucks are getting ready to lose their antlers, and most does have been bred and are carrying next years crop. When there weren't any laws was when we almost hunted the whitetail to extinction. In 1925, the herd in Missouri was 400. Yes, that is right.... FOUR HUNDRED. There were no laws, so people shot what they could. In order to get the numbers back, the state imported deer from Michigan. So, in order for us LEGAL hunters to be able to enjoy our hunts, that is why those that break the law need to pay, regardless of what our "history" WAS in this county. And if you want more information regarding the history of whitetails in Missouri, I suggest this page: http://mdc.mo.gov/hunt/deer/whitetail/history... |
