Deputies Arrest 14th Deadbeat Parent from SC

Deadbeat dads need to be taken care of in prison by big burley hairy men that need luvin!

To all readers... I am putting out an APB on SPORTCAT. Anyone with information of his wherabouts please contact the State Law Enforcement Division (aka SLED)... LMAOOO. All that mouth all of a sudden he gone into hiding. I say gather them (deadbeat fathers/mothers) up and make them pay... stop causing us tax dollars.

The lesson here? If you can't support children, keep your pants on.

I wish this amount of resources were available to track down truly dangerous criminals. Seems like a little girl was missing for a month less than a mile from her home recently and authorities were unable to find her,yet they can track down "criminals" all the way down to Fla. Meanwhile, after all the taxpayer expense to do this, what have they really collected other that a paper judgment? They act like the deadbeat dads are some type of trophy, yet after they are paraded around, have they collected anything?

You got to pay to play... garnish all wages until they are caught up!

Please parents support your kids, these kids know who supports and loves them, its not alway about the money, spend time with them also, my ex pays his support, but refuses to spend time with his 9 year old daughter.

Are other counties in Columbia going to follow suit???? I think Lexington County is setting a great example for others to wakeup to. There are so many single mothers battling to support their children on their own and a judicial system that is allowing these deadbeat dads to float right by without penalty. Wake up America!!!

You are obviously not the victim of a deadbeat parent. Aren't you the lucky one!!!! You have no idea how the single parent struggles to suppor their children and make a better life for them, do you?? didn't think so!

And there are no such things as deadbeat moms? My ex-wife most certainly is! She is currently in jail for failure to pay child support to the tune of $33,000.

Let me say I am Not a "deadbeat" dad. I have raised 6 children and did it by myself for years! I didn't need chid support nor welfare. I worked everyday and I paid my bills. Yes sometimes late but they were paid. The point is Lexington county has done absolutly nothing but waste taxpayers money chasing down deadbeat dads and moms. Yes there are deadbeat moms out there also! So they caught a few of them. So what! The judges just let them go and they leave again. Nothing accomplished but wasted taxpayers money! Now all you single mothers will cry i need it. This may be true and your child is entitled to it if a judge ordered it. Bottom line is get a job and work to make ends meet. Dont sit around and wait on Lexington county! Most people know they can play the system and collect alot more for staying at home. Are you one of those? If so quit complaining .........you may get caught up with!

Which agency is doing the most and which one gets the publicity may not be the same.

How about a cable channel called "The Punishment Channel". Dead Beat Parents and bad check writers to be televized being canned while secured in stocks with an occassional execution. We have too many in prison now.
