work on Lyon's buildings

haven't seen much work going on there in the last few weeks. Will they meet that deadline?
I have seen the sons hanging tough outside Brix, eating, drinking and wasting time a lot though.

still not finished and I haven't seen any sign of work being done in weeks, maybe even months

What is it to us? Just fun, seeing how that shady mf'er is doing. must be waiting for the 1 dollar bills at the laundry matt to build up enough to buy materials. Now that the grant money is gone. Only thing different is the amount the tax payers owe in interest as we wait for the building to be complete!

As of Mon Feb 6th the Village of Dolgeville has been reimbursed for all 3 of the buildings on Main Street through the restore grant. So according to NY State, the Lyon family met the requirements for their building.

Good post, I have to agree. But they will get what is coming to them in the future. Not sure how Matt can show his face in town anymore, all that crap, and now jacking deer. Is it that difficult to buy a license and hunt legally? Really, this is some shady stuff and should have been punished. For someone who talks alot of shit, he is not what he likes to put himself up as. He acts like he has a ton of money and doesn't have a pot to piss in. And remember people, he who cheats in life, cheats only himself.....

There are no penalties. There is interest. Big difference.

you can call it interest or penalties or whatever might cross your mind. however you call it it is a PENALTY. the people who live in the village have to pay it. they got absolutely nothing for it. no new building. no lining of their pockets with free cash. no nothing at all except this "interest" bill. i call that a penalty. the way i see it is that IT IS A PENALTY to the residents. if it makes you feel better for some wierd reason then you can call it interest.
for some reason you had to make this interest thing known, are you one of those thieves, those interest makers?
does the fact that it is " interest" make it any easier to pay? but it must do it for you.

oh, and by listen up-- if you don't comply with any legal or binding agreement you will be penalized. a penalty for failing to hold up your end of the agreement. the interest due is a PENALTY for not doing so.
