Oh well, another small store will be gone. I have seen this happening my entire life, it seems a shame that little guys get taken over by the Big guys. Well, if this is indeed the case possibly Shoppers Square will get a much needed facelift and might even attract other business oportunities.
One can only hope this will be a positive step for Little Falls area.

Big Ms prices are higher than pricechopper. They wanted to build in the old rock quarry and the owners of big m fought it hand tooth and nail. They didnt want the competition. So pricechopper eliminated the competition.

Wait, so some people think the "small store" of Big M needs to stay, that greedy puss hole needs to go. I have never been so disgusted in my life, and I have been to a lot of places. Not only do they rip off the customers by over pricing things, they don't take care of the store, it's always dirty, every time I have been in there I have picked up to buy at least one expired item. Price chopper is going to do this area good once people start getting fresh food for low prices they will wake up and smell the freshiness!

I have no love lost for the former owners of Shopper's Square. They were just some company out of Florida, no local company owned it. It was managed by some idiot from Mass. named Jules who was a total jerk. Every time I ever dealt with him I always had to threaten him to get anything ever done.

This is great news. Now we won't have to drive all the way to Utica or to that one in Nelliston(?) I won't go into a Big M (or a little m) anymore, their prices are high, their meats and produce were nasty and all the stores smelled. We've gotten up to $1.60 off a gallon of gas with Price Chopper's rewards plan.
