That's a safe intersection so what was the kid doing? Talking on the phone, texting, speeding? She's lucky she only received minor injuries. 17 is too young to drive unsupervised. I hope her parents wake up and give her a few more years before letting her drive again. The rest of the drivers on the road will appreciate it.

I bet if she was a Sanchez or Gonzalez The Reporter would have reported the tickets doled out by the CHP. Strange that there was no report of speeding or BAC as in other accident with injury stories.

Ignorance is bliss if you believe everything you read in the paper. you will also see in the paper from that day all the accidents due to high winds but i guess that has failed to enter your brain.

You're right...it was the wind. It COULDN'T be that this teenager wasn't paying attention or is just not a good driver. It was the wind. Yeah, keep living in denial, parent.

Wonder why the road wasn't littered with cars blown off by "The Wind". Guess we were all just lucky.
