I personally think that was very considerate of Royal Glass Company to their glass right then and there, on the spot and for free. I know where I will get my glass done next time!

Not a wise place to spend the night...Someone should've planned a route *around* the slums of Capital Heights. That place was ghetto when my little great-grandmother lived there in the 70's.

So sad to say but times are tough for everyone, not just the families they raising money for.

Actually this occurred in Annapolis not Capitol Heights, that would be Anne Arundel County. Prince Georges County Fire Dept and Prince Georges County based Royal Auto Glass where the ones that came to the rescue. Check the story on channel 7 http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/0508/521316....

Please, Please let your people know in the future that Capitol Heights MD. is not a place where they want to stop and rest or do anything. I myself was once robbed in that area about 10 years ago in broad daylight.

Thanx for the link. People are always quick to bash PG County without knowing all the facts. I'm not saying PG isn't a high crime area, it just isn't the only area with high crime.

The money was being raised to help the families whose breadwinner members were killed in the line of duty as emergency workers on 9-11. The fund-raising project wasn't for someone merely experiencing tough times. A family member who, as an EMS worker, went to the scene of the terrible death and destruction on that fateful day never to return to their loved ones at home--this scenario was repeated many times. Is that too difficult to understand?

money is like sex. No matter if it comes from charities or banks, money is in demand so steal it where you can. Love is much the same way. Annapolis Hotel should have warned these people not to leave expensive equipment in cars. Basic do not leave anything of value in a vehicle any time or any where. FBI learned that one too when guns where stolen from their vehicles and any one who has every had a vehicle stolen knows that too. Vehicles get broken ionto people any time and any where and are not safe storage facilities no matter who you are.

I would have to say that this is common knowledge and the cops already conducted a roll call to discuss protocol. At the moment, it is a matter of getting funding from the Government to contend with these issues.

Umm No actually this happened in Annapolis not Capitol Heights..I swear the most brilliant people post on this message board.
