Life Flight Helicopters at Bristow last night? Shooting?

Does anyone know what happened last night in the neighborhood near Bristow Middle School? We live near there and heard gunshots, then police and helicopters? Hope whomever it was is okay....

yeah, a 20 year old got into a fight with his dad, and he stabbed his dad...it was going around school all day...unfortenetly, the dad died:[[ i go to bristow middle school, so i should know

there was no shooting thou, the son slit his dads throught and than stabbed him in the chest..if anyone knows his name, please let me know

you are wrong. the incident involving the 20 year old stabbing his dad happened in brentwood on friday. whatever the bristow event was, it is totally different. please be sure to get your fact straight before you post on boards.

Whatever happened happened 11/9/09 at around 4PM. I work on Balfour and all the cops went zooming past my place of business.
A friend came in and said it was a stabbing or shooting that took place on the Marsh Creek bike trail underneth Balfour Rd and that they didn't catch the suspect. That the victim was life flighted out and that's all I've heard.

you are talking about Benjamin Packer? The 20 yr old that fatally stabbed his father? That happened a little while ago. The incident that happened yesterday was a stabbing or shooting off Balfour Rd. There is nothing about it on the web yet.

I talked to the granparents of the kid that got stabbed. he got stabbed twice near the waist and he was life flighted. It was at creekside park

I live on Claremont, and got home after the incident occured. Have you heard any other details, particularly the victim? I've lived there since '97, and probably coached this kid in some sport or another over the years.

I haven't been able to find anything in the news or online... They must not be releasing details yet. I'm sure I'll hear a ton of rumors at work tonight.

15-year-old stabbed on trail in Brentwood

BRENTWOOD — A 15-year-old Brentwood boy was stabbed on an East Bay Regional Park District trail Monday afternoon, and the people who witnessed the assault are not talking to investigators about the circumstances, police said.

"It was a group of people who knew each other, and something went bad," park district police Sgt. Tyrone Davis said. "People (who were with the victim) don't really want to talk to us right now."

The stabbing took place sometime before 5:25 p.m. on the Marsh Creek Trail, near Balfour Road. Davis said the victim was with a group of six or seven people. After he was stabbed in the upper torso, the boy flagged down a passing Brentwood police officer.

He was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Davis said the attack was not gang-related but police don't know who stabbed the boy or why.

The way Brentwood has been the last few weeks it sounds more like Oakland! Gun shots 2 nites in a row one week. A gun shot on Sat. and then a stabbing on Monday.
