With the amount of minerals at stake I fear we will not be able to completely prevent the developement of this mine.
By demanding accountability every step of the way we can perhaps delay the process and create oversight and controls that will limit impact to this pristine watershed and protect the fisheries and wild life so important to the region, state and the nation.

It is obvious that BBNC Board of Directors have taken a preliminary stand on the Pebble Project. Why wouldn't they allow in-depth engineering studies on their land for a construction of a road, to determine accurate costs?

Sort of a statement from the majority of the directors. Sort of a shot fired across the bow, if you will.

This is a token, political gesture. That BBNC board is sold out. They change the subject to jobs. jobs isnt the issue. The issue is can we live off the land. Not likely
