Correction for typos:
there = There
expects = Expected
Garden city = Garden City
For all the critics. I was typing fast, so shut up!

I know this is going to make you angry, but hopefully with your anger you get an ounce of perspective. 1st: While your corrections of typographical errors is certainly appreciated, your grammar is horrible. "There are no black police men, no black mail men, no blacks working in any of the downtown offices, no blacks working for City Link (Fit) transportation, no blacks working at Saint Catherine Hospitals, no blacks working in the court systems as judges, lawyers, no blacks teachers educators, at any of the public schools, and certainly no African-Americans working in the community college." Talk about your run-on sentence. 2nd: "Blacks teachers educators" is not a word. 3rd: "They are expect" (noticed I fixed the typo) is not correct verb usage. 4th: If you are typing so fast as to lose control of your ability to verbalize correctly, perhaps you should calm down before you begin to post and sound foolish. 5th: Your logic is faulty. You argue that because you do not have a job you like, the entire city must be racist. Have you considered other possible causes for your economic predicament? Perhaps, poor attitude or poor communication skills? 6th: You cite statistics of 65% Hispanic population for Garden City. Do you have a statistics for the African American population? Perhaps that is why, as you say it, there are no blacks in the aforementioned statement. 7th: I'm very curious where and in what you were college educated. If I were you, I would ask for my money back.

Knuckle dragging mouth breathers unite! This community is the most diverse I have ever seen in my 32 years. I have lived in San Diego and in Iowa and while the black community is small the overall diversity is astonishing. Jobs here are hard to find for anyone regardless of race. It took my spouse nearly 4 months to find employment even though she has an extensive resume. Finding employment is all about the effort you put forth and the attitude you portray during an interview. Its pretty clear many of you have a chip on your shoulder which would have clearly shone through for any interviewer to see. Its sad that you can't look past your own biases to see what is really going on around you. Racism in Garden City isn't an issue its your own pitiful excuses that drag you down.

I am of Native American descent but I have to agree with the black population out there. Being born and raised in western Ks (not GCK, further west), there are not blacks here. Blacks for whatever reason are not welcome in these western KS communities. That goes back for hundreds of years. In my community, we do have blacks here. They are schooled along with all the rest of the kids. I would rather have the blacks than Hispanics. We don't have to provide interpreters for them. There is just not any jobs this far west.

If you look at the town as a whole, you don't see any African-Americans working in any positions of substance. there are no black police men, no black mail men, no blacks working in any of the downtown offices, no blacks working for City Link (Fit) transportation, no blacks working at Saint Catherine Hospitals, no blacks working in the court systems as judges, lawyers, no blacks teachers educators, at any of the public schools, and certainly no African-Americans working in the community college. Garden City is made up of 65 percent Hispanics and they are expects by the whites to only work housekeeping jobs or work at Tyson. Garden City saves all its decent paying jobs for the whites in the town. They don't expect minorities to aspire to any decent paying jobs. Garden city also exploits a lot of immigrants and has a segregated town of Somalians, Vietnamese and illegal immigrants that work at Tyson so hell, yes, Garden City Kansas is racist! I know because I am a college educated black woman and can't find a decent paying job in Garden City! If she isn't qualafied she won't get it. I know some very nice aferican american people who have decent jobs in Garden City and Liberal.
