Scranton priest removed from duties for computer photos

A northeastern Pennsylvania priest has been removed from his duties after church officials say he accidentally displayed inappropriate pictures from his computer before Sunday Mass.

This is silly.
The man is probably decent AND GOD FEARING.
He didn't have child porn, he had adults.
Big whoop!
Get over it and continue to embrace your priest, complete with the sexual energies he must fight on a regular basis
What, you expect a "perfect man"?
He's a priest...a man.
Find it in yourselves to forgive this man, and be BIG ABOUT IT.
He has been completely embarrassed and humiliated by this ordeal, so it's time for REAL CHRISTIANS to give this man their support and not cast him away like a piece of ....
Again, he's not a pedophile.

Our society is so quick to condem without knowing all the facts!!! I have had disgusting pictures pop up on my computer, from out of cyberspace unknown!!!!!!!! A very wise statement was made to me years ago, "Believe NOTHING you hear and only HALF or less what you see".....What would Jesus say to all of this?

Actually, if he was using church property that is at the very least an ethical problem. It's that same as viewing pornography at any place of work.

Also, we don't know what the content of the pics were, so it is hard to decide how serious the situation is. The priest was removed from his parish duties

Finally, being a priest is a difficult job--they're sexual suspects from the get-go.

people that believe in 'god" or a ;fairy in the sky" who answers telepathic wishes or "prayers" are very naive.

Anyone who is so delusional that they believe everything they read without questions deserves to be taken advantage of in this way.

The guy who had these photos is a predator, predators like to prey on the weak, stupid and naive.

They know that anyone who is "religious" has no clue what is really going on in reality, therefore they make easy prey

WAKE UP AMERICA AND STOP THIS KIND OF THING FROM HAPPENING TO YOU.

IF YOU NEED GUIDANCE THEY YOU SHOULD ASK A PROFESSIONAL JOB COUNSELOR OR START SEEING A SHRINK.
