No need to leave town to get a top drawer meal, just visit Michelle's Restaurant. The food is outstanding, large servings and good prices for the volume of food you get.

I dont know anywhere in Joliet where you pay $28.95 for carry-out ribs, The going price is usually $16.95, the price at Rons is nuts, and the one and only time I had the ribs there, they where not baby back ribs, The ribs should have been cut up into rib tips.

Like I said plz go back and as for the price he is cheaper than other true rib places that use actual smokers bc most places around here only boil or bake them in the oven Chicago style rib place in Jolirt are going for 28 bucks a slab and also he serves baby back loins which is better quality of meat

I would like for you to show me one place in Joliet that has ribs for $28.95. If you want real ribs, go to chicago street ribs, in Joliet, much cheaper, better sauce, and better sides. I'll give you the Macaroni and cheese was good, all of the 2 bites of it I got. The size of that side, is dish, that people give salad dressing in for a salad. The pulled pork is good. The ribs are not baby back, they should have been cut into rib tips, I want a rib, I can eat off the bone, not have to eat with a fork, and not for $24.00 either.

I enjoy Hayden's Crossing. The steak sandwich and grilled chicken with BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese and Bacon is wonderful. The owner did a beautiful job with the rustic interior also.

Foods good though. I don't care about huge portions myself, a serving of meat is generally 4-6 ounces so if I don't get 4 lbs of food on my plate I really don't care, I just want quality.

Dean is now cooking at Michelle's because Tom Hayden caught him stealing checks and writing them to himself. Not a very smart move on his part.

Hayden's needs to clean up - literally. The dust in there is 3 Inches thick. And yeah, Dean was a loser but everyone has noticed the use of a cheaper vendor (but higher prices) since he left.

Who hasn't raised their prices? Folks, it's only going to get worse. By this time next year, most of our food prices will be up by another 20%. We're payin almost $5 for an egg McMuffin meal with a bottle of water. So how can we complain when we pay $8 to $12 for a real meal? Get ready, It's going to get much worse.

Tried Michelle's for the first time the other day and it was pretty good. The atmosphere isn't much to write home about, but our servers were nice and attentive. The menu was much more expansive than Hayden's. We never get a bad meal at Hayden's and the atmosphere is probably one of the best places in the area locally, but I agree with the previous comments of it being pricey. My husband and I and our two kid's usually can't spend less than $40-$50 and that's no appetizers or alcohol and the kids having kids meals and us pretty basic meals(no steaks or ribs etc) Not a place most families can afford to frequent often but nice for a treat.
