49 thousand voters in Pomona and only about 4 thousand show up to vote...sad, very sad...no wonder the city is the way it is. Wake up people !!!

Paul Vincent Avila denied again..............thank God. The voters were sensible enough to re-elect the two incumbents. Now if the Ontario-Montclair parents would be just smart enough to vote Avila out in his next election, maybe we could save that district.

I guess I'll just say at least the novelty of having an elected official's kid 50% failed. I can't see what a twentysomething with so little life experience has to offer on a school board already so in trouble.

Look's like Nick Q's and the Daily Bulletin's hatchet job on Steven Llanusa failed.
Better luck next time.
Countdown to unseating the impotent Bingham and her cohort Hillary begins today.

Congrats to the Rothman family. Fresh, young and full of ideas. Bring trade training back to the schools!!

Reality Check...not a major election and, most of the people in Pomona are illegals.

Congratulations Dr. Perlman for a well deserved victory. You will bring positive changes to a board that needs your input. The kids, parents and employees of PUSD are so lucky to have a person like you on this new board. We look forward to watching all the good changes that you will bring to this district.

Sincerely,
Barry and Kelly Blacher

Watch out Pomona. Monies have been miappropriate in the past and with the newly elected board members it will only get worse. Black folks voted for Adrienne, and parents voted for Roberta. Roberta has always been in control when it came to the PTA funds. She always made sure that people that looked just like her received all of the scholarship awards. Adrienne has yet to prove anything in her short time on the board in Pomona. Andrew Wong should have been gone. He like his former and current board have not been responsive to African American students. He has not responded to the needs and concerns of parents. I don't know that he even has any children of his own. What is his real interest in pomona? Dipping his hands in the cookie jar. The previous board including Adrienne has held information from the public and refused to release budget information. How transparent is that? They have gave nothing but praise to the former superintendent. She left the district with a 60% drop out rate. I trust that is nothing to brag about. To the constituatnts: You all better wake up. Our tax monies are and have been spent on things that you could not imagine. Remember when you vote; ask what have these people really done to support your children. Drop out rate; 60%. We need a fresh start, and unfortunately the selected board is not it. Don't be fooled. Take the time and attend the board meetings and you quickly will find out what this board is really made of. Andrew Wong lives in Diamond Bar. Why is he here in our district? Unfair hearings and disparities continuously demonstrated from personnel, principals like Paul Aveno, Richard Martinez and the former superintendent, Thelma Melendez. When will it stop? Not until you the constituants take a stand for what is right.

Have Rothman get rid of the illegal's. and start a new system !!!!!!
GREAT IDEA !!!!!!!!

He'll have to check with his dad first !!!!
Does he still live at home ??????????

How anyone with absolutely no experiance can get elected to a position like this that effects all the school children on of this city is MIND BOGGLING !!!!

Like the saying goes !!! MONEY TALKS AND B>S> WALKS !!!!!

Watch your step young man , if you FART WRONG,you are history !!!!!!!

Oh Old Vet...old timers miss the point. A younger person is more in touch with the needs of our youth.

I'm all for getting rid of the illegals, more school funds for our kids. The ones that belong here.

For fun, I hope he does "fart wrong". Not a thing you can do about it. JERK.
