of human is to all of Europe! Now there here?

Pardon me for my harsh words but ask anyone from

They are Eastern Europeon nomads and they`ll steal or buy cute young children. Watch the movie "Heidi" with Shirley Temple. Seriously, they are a very small minority in SoCal and you can see them sometimes in store parking lots asking if they perform body work on your car. The sting is that you`ll never see your car again or they`ll commit crimes with it. Also, they are adaptable to the host society and as a kid in the 70`s I can remember seeing them dressed 70`s style. Nowadays, they dress hip hop/ gangster style.

Their were a lot of them in New York years ago. They know every scam in the book, if their is an earthquake in some other country they send their kids out with cans going door to door asking for relief funds for that country. They are real big on roof repair scams also. The third reich just about wiped them out in Europe during WWII but they have since made a comeback.

They are very clanish and never rat each other out to the law. Young girls go into prostitution and the Dads and Brothers pimp them. Just one big happy family.

I remember seeing them as a kid in England, you would see them in their caravans on the side of the road or selling trinkets in the market place.

Last year in Spain, I watched my 70 year old mom "deck" a gypsie woman on a busy street. The woman attempted to pin a broach on my mom and then demand money for it.
As the woman approached, my mom told her NO three times and then took her out with a left elbow to the face.
Nobody cared about what had just took place and the gypsie woman didn't even protest, she just continued to try to extort money from people .

I personally knew three Gypsy families and it is a very sad way of life they lead. Most of the women are very attractive and beautiful, but they are forced into prostitution at a very early age. The men don't work but live out of the women. The older women in their 50s or 60s use con to earn a living, such as, stating they can tell the future by reading cards, the palm, etc. They offer these services in exchange of either money or goods. Gympsy women are not allowed to go to school or marry out of the clan. I still remember a very beautiful teenage girl by the name of Kathy who fell in love with a Hispanic man, but was very afraid to date him for fear of her life and she was alse resentful that she was being pushed into prostitution. The last Gypsy family I was friends with was an attractive woman who had one little boy from a pimp. We both lived in the same apartment complex in San Gabriel and the multitude of her clients were Asian men, including a large group of Asian men from our own apartment complex. These men were very bad they would engage her services in front of their wives. Much drama. But one thing for sure, this woman regardless of her business was very loving and a good provider to her little boy. I hope police crack down on these sick lazy Gympsy men and help the women.

We had 4 gypsy famlies living on our street. They all claimed they were from Texas. All the men said they were in "construction". HA...one neighbor used to frequently get their mail at her house and the women were receiving government disability checks.
Some claim they are "care-givers" to their elderly parents to receive government money(another scam).
Constant foot traffic in and out of their homes.
One woman stopped as I was out doing yard work. Had a small child of maybe 6 years with her. The woman told me they had just got back from Las Vegas and the kid said "He loved Las Vegas" because there was lots of money there (as he rubbed his hands together) and he liked to steal from the stores there! The woman quickly covered his mouth and excused herself.
They teach their children very early on how to steal so even though they're "kids", don't let their youth fool you.

Police said they believe the suspects are Long Beach residents Eric Bimbo, 20, and Amy Adams, 20.

Gypsy thieves prey on seniors

WEST COVINA - Three people, allegedly from a group of transients, targeting the homes of elderly Latinos robbed two more victims Wednesday, police said.

Police suspect the scammers have hit six houses in just two weeks in West Covina. They stole more than $20,000 worth of cash and jewelry, said Cpl. Rudy Lopez.

Police believe the culprits are a part of an organized group that attacks residents in cities throughout Los Angeles County with ploys ranging from selling fake lottery tickets to burglaries.

"There is an organization behind this, a tribe of transients, and they go city to city doing their deeds," Lopez said. "We are concerned they are targeting people who are least suspecting it."

Juan Fuentes, 71, was home alone Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. when he heard the doorbell ring. At his doorstep was a woman in her 20s, who told Fuentes she was there to fix a broken wall in his backyard.

Fuentes, who rents the home on the 100 block of South Fircroft Street with his family, left the front door unlocked and was led by the woman to the furthest end of his backyard.

"She told him that they would fix the crack on the walls, and that they would cut down the trees," said Laura Magallanes, Fuentes' daughter. "That's when he knew something was strange."

Fuentes, who speaks Spanish, told the English-speaking woman that he did not feel comfortable with this arrangement. As he tried to head back inside, she pulled

him back.
Fuentes broke free, and entered his house through the rear door.

It was enough time for the suspects to steal Fuentes' wallet, but not enough time to go through the rest of the house, Magallanes said.

He said that he saw a man run through the house.

"He's scared," Magallanes said, translating for her father. "He's just relieved that they didn't harm him."

Police said they believe the suspects are Long Beach residents Eric Bimbo, 20, and Amy Adams, 20.

The story is similar to five other instances in West Covina, Lopez said, although typically there have been two men and one woman.

There have also been similar incidents reported to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

One woman distracts the homeowner as the other two suspects sneak into the house and rob it.

On Oct. 20, the suspects robbed a home in the 200 block of North Vincent Avenue. On Oct. 25 they targeted a home at 3:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Meeker Avenue, and then a half-hour later a home was targeted in the 900 block of South Orange Street.

Wednesday, two homes were targeted. Nearly two hours after the home of South Fircroft Street was robbed, there was a another victim on 600 North Maplewood Drive.

These gypsies are horrible people!
There is no good that can possibly come from them. I see them every so often in random places in the San Gabriel Valley and I make sure they stay away from me and my family. They are ALWAYS looking for freebies and use their kids in whatever manner possible to get something for free. These are disgusting people and most of the time, you know who they are because they travel in groups and ALL the women wear long skirts to their ankles.

I live in West Covina, our home was recently burglarized between 9a.m. and 1p.m. Luckily what was taken was only material items. We installed an alarm system and I replaced the firearm that was taken. I now take photos of any cars that drive by my home who don't live in my neighborhood. I'm brushing up on my shooting skills. Everyone needs to take precautions and let these criminals know were watching out for them.

Ive also run into a few gypsie families...
alot of what is said above is true...
Though I was not aware of the women I knew ... being in prostitution...
But yes-- kids, males, women, living toghether.
Seemed like it was multi family.
1st thing they did when they moved in to the house on the corner (when I lived in San Gabriel) is they came over and asked if they could do bodywork on my car.
The older women were... well older.
But I remeber the young women there.. they looked attractive.. I mean they werent dressed up- but body/facial looks- looked nice.
They moved away about 6 months later.

Gypsies? I had no clue they existed there, and thought they were mostly in European countries. They're visible in Italy, but they're usually begging on the streets, not brazenly robbing people in their own homes. Looks like CA has a double problem....first the illegals, now Gypsies.
