The reason why this has been largely dismissed as false is because the US government was very successful at a cover-up. The fact of the matter is that many people who were first hand witnesses including the head of intelligence for the USAF came forward saying that there was a cover-up of an extraterrestrial spacecraft that had crashed at Roswell. Anybody who would take the time to go over all of evidence of this incident would see too many inconsistencies with the cover story the USAF reported to the US public and what the actual witnesses of this event had actually seen and took part in. Anybody that did not become a whistleblower to this event spent the remainder of their lives in silence about his event due to being threatened. http://www.ufoinfo.com/news/balthaser0502.sht...

For those of you who are open-minded I'll give you the crash test dummy theory. The USAF reported that people were mistaking crash test dummies for alien bodies being dropped in the desert for experiments. It is laughable when you go over the facts and an insult to anybody with any intelligence to listen to them. The dummies were 6 feet tall, tan, weighed 200 pounds, and had heads that were in proportion to their bodies compared to a human. That is not even close to the description of small 4-foot tall grayish human- like beings with large heads and weighing 80 pounds, which is what the witnesses report seeing. Here is the bigger discrepancy; Colonel Madson who was the head of this program said these experiments did not take place anywhere near the crash site and not before 1953. Here is a quote from Stanton Friedman, who is the top researcher on this event.

"One of the silliest official USAF stories is the crash test dummy nonsense. I spoke in person with Colonel Madson, whose picture is in the Case Closed volume and was heavily involved in the research program. He is adamant that the explanation doesn't fit. Remember that the dummies had to be the same height and weight as air force pilots. None were dropped anywhere near the two crash sites and none were dropped earlier than 6 years AFTER the 1947 events."

You forgot to mention the supposed falsehood of the majestic 12 documents.

http://www.v-j-enterprises.com/mj12_update1.h...

In addition to this, there is another leaked document circulating the web: "Extraterrestrial Entities and Technology, Recovery and Disposal."
Look it up and judge for yourself.

But if that wasn't enough, military pilots from around the world have started to come forward relating engagements with unknown craft, sightings have occurred in large cities and by credible witnesses, humanoid creatures have been captured (Varghina case in Brazil)and actual physical material evidence has been demonstrated to originate outside of this planet (Roger Leir)

I encourage all to look into it and come up with your own conclusions.

All of these UFO cases being factual events with many credible witnesses there is just so much information to talk about. I could go on for hours, probably days with it all so I was just listing that as an example. Friedman wrote some excellent books on the subject and anyone with any interest should read them. He proves his theories beyond a reason of doubt due to his meticulous work and vast amounts of research. I actually own all of his books and anybody else can buy them of his website. www.stantonfriedman.com

The Varginha, Brazil incident from Jan, 20-22 1996 is another great case to mention. I agree with the last comment that people should do their own research come up with their own answers. Once again, I could go on writing about information that is available to anybody reading this if they take the time to do the research. Roswell did make the front page of a newspaper; I actually own copies of the re-prints. Varginha should have been on the front page of every newspaper in the world but sadly not that many people even know what I'm talking about. I guess my point is that it is not a mistake; apparently the militaries of the countries involved do not want people knowing. Personally, I think it is a disgrace to the honest and hard working people of those countries to keep them in the dark. http://www.ufoevidence.org/cases/case498.htm

I think it is about due time for disclosure. www.disclosureproject.org

What strikes me as relevant is we have scores of military officers station at Roswell who on there death beds told there family Roswell was a "spaceship" and it had "bodies". Does anyone ever tell their families a big lie just before they die. What are the odds of that many people lying or being mistaken on what they saw.
The people in Government owe those brave men who kept there oaths for so long the truth. We can handle it and they deserve it.

My late grandmother was a sober, trustworthy person util the day she died. She, hesitantly, confided to me that she saw the craft from her kitchen at sunrise. She was making coffee and saw it about 200 yards away in a pasture behind her house. The craft was on stilt-like legs and she could only see the legs of the "people" on the other side of the craft. She said it was certainly no helicopter. It was not like an airplane. Later, she refused to discuss the matter with anyone.
