How come the state an these cities embrace Mesa Airlines like they went after this new airline? Are the people responcible getting a bigger kickback or better perks for their families?

Two planes to Dallas means more Texass rednecks coming into the state and now to Calif. and all of South Central LA will be here pretty soon or all of East LA.

It is about time Roswell had a good airline connection to the rest of the country and Hawaii. I don't think we will have to worry about an invasion of folks from other states, not enough jobs for the ones here already.

I live in SoCal. I have family in Roswell, NM. I used to travel Southwest to ABQ then MESA Air to ROW. Mesa lost the subsidy when AA started flights from Dallas (DFW) to ROW. Southwest doesn't fly into DFW (they go to Love Field). So it has been complicated to arrange flights. But now I can fly direct to ROW from LAX. What a relief! You can thank FLETC (Federal Law Enforcemwent Training Center) in Artesia, NM for this. There will be no "invasion" of aliens from the West Coast. Now it would be even better if "New Mexico Airlines" could start up flights from ABQ and ELP, instead of just Carlsbad and Hobbs. More choices.

The Roswell "International" airport should have more flights than just to Dallas. Thay used to go to Albuquerque. The runways are long enough to accomodate bigger aircraft. I remember seeing two AWACs planes there, at the same time, about twenty years ago. Las Vegas would be great, as well as San Diego, El Paso, etc. I'll fly back in when there's a direct flight from D.C.
