Pissed about Pizza

We ordered the hand tossed pizza from pizza hut tonight and they brought us a thin crust. So we called them they offered to remake the pizza and when they brought it back it again was thin crust. So we called again and they told us it is the "NEW" Hand tossed dough. It was less than a 1/4 of an inch thick and tasted like cardboard. We were hung up on 4 times and called liars. What ever happened to making the customer happy? I will no longer use pizza hut in dexter.

Sounds to me he/she was just trying to giving a heads up. But I seriously doubt it's a new style dough. That probably just give their dough time to thaw and proof. More than likely poor management. And you probably called being such an ass about it they felt it no necessary to give you proper customer service and compensate you. Cause and effect

Actually I was polite with them and tried to be reasonable. But I do believe it was poor management and yes I was trying to give a heads up. I could care less that they have my name I don't think that the workers that night were acting appropriately. I called back and simply asked to speak with the manager and was hung up on 4 times.. come on now. I wasn't hateful or rude. I simply wanted what I had paid for, and what I had ordered. I will take my business elsewhere. And if that does per chance happen to be a "new" crust then there will be a lot of pissed off people on Superbowl Sunday.

you are so rude! How was she not supposed to eat any of it when they brought her the SAME thing twice. Sounds like someone(you) doesn't Want to take the fall for the mess up. How hard is it to make a pizza correctly? It's not rocket science dude. Come on now. That's why you people don't go anywhere in life. You can fulfill the simple task of taking and order, making it correctly, and delivering it with a smile. Instead u have to be an obnoxious, rude immature imbasol... Don't be mad at the customer because you aren't doing anything but rolling dough for a living, and you can't even do that right, clearly.

I paid for the pizza and they weren't going to refund the money because I asked for that option. They refused to refund my money and take the pizza with them. So we had no choice but to keep the second pizza they brought out. But I did go to their website and share our experience with them and the managers were very rude. The delivery guy however was polite and we tipped him. I knew it wasn't his fault. The blame lies with management and cooks, and if that is how they want to treat their customers, well they will lose them. I just wanted to warn people and thank you to those of you on here with the common sense to see the situation for what it is.

Number one rule:

Don't piss off people who prepare your food. Especially immature minimum wage earners. I wonder how many loogies were hocked in that pizza that night. I'd rather just buy a DiGiorno, its a better quality pizza anyway.

we ordered a pizza lastnight, the person who answered was rude,told me i couldnt pay for extra cheese cuz i had a coupon and to top it off when we picked up our pizza that they told us would take 35 min it was cold as hell.It was the hand tossed and it did look really thin and cold thin pizza is just nasty. I didnt bother to complain to manny teenagers making the food,besides wouldnt do any good they dont care.

Not many places to eat here mabye that's why.Most of the food in this town sucks! Not much to choose from unless you want to drive to bluff or sikeston.

try the grill next to dexter pizza company. Home cooked meals! Very good

Good luck on ever hearing anymore out of it unless YOU push the issue. We called in about Pizza Hut we ordered Pizzas for my sons bday party to be delivered to my house and after an hour and half of not coming we called and asked where they were and they said oh they are in the delivery car on its way. Two hours went by and no pizzas and I have screaming kids wanting pizza so I call them back telling them I want a straight answer and they told me well actually we forgot to put your order in the system!! But give us 20 minutes and we'll have it done and out to you. Believe it or not they did and did NOT charge us either!! But it still ruined my sons bday party because for 3 hours they were wanting pizza. They were only 6 years old. Well I wrote in to the main office plus I talked to the manager up there at Pizza Hut about it and I got more of a response out of him than I did corporate. The Pizza Hut Manager said he knew that he couldn't take back last night but gave my son and his friends tickets to the movie theater to try and help make up. The main office all they said when they finally called was we'll check into it.
