My name is jean michel Wizenne and i currently live in Paris France.
I’m a singer and guitar player and i represant the band « Medicine Groove »
I have a long story with Lakota people from Rosebud and one of my friend is incarcerated at the South Dak Pen.
My visit to South Dak and inside the penitentiary for the ceremonies made me witness many things and understand many others.
I realized a telephone interview live from the pen with my friend Gerald Thin Elk.
He could speak up about his case and about the South Dak judicial system.
In order to get people attention on my side of the world, i deliver my message in English and lakota language.
I’m not a spokesman, i’m just a witness who does not remain silent.
In the name of the old Lakota / French friendship.
In the name of my friend Gerald Thin Elk incarcerated at the South Dakota State penitentiary.
In the name of all the Lakota prisoners victim of the new way to assimilate the native American…
In the name of hope.
I support you..
