I would like other people to know that there is help for people on drug's and alcohol. SAMI Stand's for substance abuse and mental illness and they have great relaxing group's. If your like me I didn't even say anything for a while util I got used to the people there. They do not give out any information you say in group's to anyone it is privilaged information. They will not call the cop's on you if you have a problem of any kind including what type drug you be on. Some people think that if they go for help they will be turned over to the police or their report will be turned over to the police. This is not so for any reason unless you threaten harm to yourself or other's. If you have drug problem or mental health problem's don't put if off go for treatment as soon as you can or it can become worst. I your not sure you have a substance abuse problem or mental health problem they have assement people that are well educated with these problem's and you can make and appointment or stop in to a mentla health treatment center they will help you. They don't do anything other than treat you or ask you to tell them anything you know about drug's. All they want to do is help you. You may see policeman at a mental health agency but they are usually there to bring in people from that are in jail and need to be treated. The police just there to transport these individual's in a safe manner. I go to Centuray Health in Findlay, Ohio. I find since I started getting help there after I left another private doctor that wasn't treating me well and went to Century Health. There are education group's there on certain day's about coping with mental illness and wellness recovery action plan. There are group's at Focus on Friend's but you need to be referred by a counseler or doctor. I am getting great help now. Sometime's it takes a while to get you on the right medication's to help you but that doesn't take long if it dosen't work the first time. I am on chemical therapy in which I take a combintation of medecation's. They are all the new antidepressant's and psychoactive medication's that do not have bad side effect's like the older one's did such as dizziness and drowsiness. They may have some mild side effect's that come and go but they are great medication's. These side effect's that are mild can be treated also such as diarreha and I have very bad sweating problem's from the medication's.
