I see that people have negatively judged my post, I'm interested to hear reasons against legal brothels.

I guess you're right. People would rather anonymously criticize someone, than sack up and provide some manner of opinion or discourse.

I lived at the kitchenettes west for about a year. and i agree. i can name the cops, the hoes, and the drug dealers. i know them by first name and nickname.
it is true. the cops run the show. mainly the vice boys ( i'm not gonna say any names in paticular) but if you live around there you know who i'm talking about. it goes from super 8 to st. charles and everywhere in between.I have so much information on all the stuff going on it isint even funny. i wish i could help but i am not gonna get myself killed for saying what i know
I too lived there. For about 6 months+. The cops know..take it from me. Everyone knew what I did. Some cops warned me about stings and such. I worked out of my room every day when I was there. Never got caught. EVER. Does that say somthing? Considering the police station is LITERALLY across the street? Haha...
judgeme for wha I've done in my past if you want. At least I saw the worst anddhad a chance to clean my life up. And thank you god for allowing it. Now go arrest the police officers too!

As usual, you bring down society with your pathetic rantings.

prostituition has no place in a scoity other than decadence, something you always seem to be pushing. Just another decadent cause you champion for.

Look, the facts are that no matter how hard you push to abolish them, vice-based activities are never going away. Prostitution, gambling, drugs, etc.; it's VERY clear that regardless of research, punishment or "popular opinion", these activities are doing quite well economically.
In short - people WANT these things.

So let's give them to 'em.

Let's legalize, organize and regulate these industries and tax the sh!+ out of 'em. You say that there's no place in a Society for Prostitution, but at one time, in our not so recent past, Prostitution was a regulated and lucrative industry. There are multitudes of reasons to legalize this industry, particularly if you empower the Ladies and have them own their business. I know this is a useless attempt to try to educate you Seymore, but I recommend you read, "Sin in the Second City" to see an example of how this could and actually did work in the early part of the 20th Century (until some Fundamentalist do-gooder like yourself took it upon himself to ruin a good thing).

And you consider yourself the "morally superior" one.
You have a weird way of defining things, Seymore.
