First, having Congress authorize it and having State Department actually release are two different things.
But you are flat on the wrong side of this issue. Who else is aiding Egypt? Who would step up their aid to try and fill the vaccum that we create?
Think about it.
You're late to the party.

The vacuum has already been filled - by the re-emerging Caliphate.

The BOBO Administration will be remembered as the administration that lost Egypt.

If you're suggesting the US can buy the Muslim Brotherhood's favor over Iran, that's just absurd. Here's a good primer:

http://www.currenttrends.org/research/detail/...

The US needs to cut its losses and just GTFO. There is no way the US is going to drive a wedge between these Islamist brothers with foreign aid, especially military aid.

The worst thing the US could be doing right now is ... exactly what the BOBOns are doing.

(Like we have the spare cash, btw ... doubly foolish).

"This is big," wrote White House director of new media Macon Phillips in a February 23, 2009 blog post , "the President today promised that by the end of his first term, he will cut in half the massive federal deficit we've inherited. And we'll do it in a new way: honestly and candidly."

Obama talks about how he will cut the deficit in half during his first term, and ... The debt was $10.626T ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch...
________

What sick twisted joke upon America.

EACH of the lizard's 4 consecutive budget proposals contain $1+ TRILLION in DEFICIT SPENDING in every one, and $1+ TRILLION in ANNUAL DEFICIT SPENDING for the next 10 YEARS, taking the debt to more than $25+ TRILLION.

His last budget got voted down 97-0, not even one commiecrat voted for it. And Harry Reid says he won't even bring this one to the Senate floor (because he knows it doesn't stand a chance). Of course those same commiecrats haven't passed a budget in 1000+ days, instead using Continuing Resolutions to mask their marxist agenda and massive deficit spending.

Meanwhile, debt-to-GDP has SKYROCKETED to record levels under the lizard.

The Kenyan commie fraud isn't qualified to be a dog catcher, even if he wasn't a treasonous, subversive anti-American fraud.

The treasonous Kenyan commie fraud and his commiecrats -- the party of payoffs, kickbacks, cronyism, and corruption -- have no intention of reducing the debt. NONE. They care only about taxing Americans into freedom and liberty-thieving subjugation, submission, and dependence.

What does Obama want?--- July 29, 2011
http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2011/07/...

Q: What does Obama want?

A: He wants a huge, and permanent, increase in the size of government. This is the “change” he campaigned on, but never really described. The goal was to make the US into a European-style “Social Democracy”.
______

Q: Does he really think he can finance it indefinitely with huge deficits?

A: Of course not. The plan was to corner the Republicans and force them to agree to huge tax increases in order to pay for it. So spending was raised first, and eventually the Republicans would face the choice of raising taxes or having the national debt spiral up to clearly unsustainable levels.
______

Q: Are Democrats in the House and Senate on board with this plan?

A: Mostly they are.
______

Q: Why haven’t they been honest about it?

A: Because they know that the majority of American voters would object. They’re trying to sneak the program through, relying on the fact that once it’s in place it will create its own constituency.
______

Q: Why haven’t the Democrats passed a budget for the last two years?

A: Because if they did, the cat would be out of the bag. It would be impossible to hide their real agenda if it was all down in black-and-white.
______

Q: And Obamacare is part of this?

A: Yup. The real goal all along was “single payer”, but that wasn’t legislatively possible even in a D-majority congress. So the bill was set up so that private insurers would continue, but the terms which would be forced on them would make them “voluntarily” leave the market. With no insurers remaining, the Democrats would then “reluctantly” pass a single-payer system.
______

Q: Is this something new?

A: Hardly. It’s the continuation of a process that began with FDR, and made huge gains with LBJ’s “Great Society”. Reagan tried to reverse it but failed.(Also, Reagan had other things to worry about, like winning the Cold War.)
______

Q: Is Obama going to win on this?

A: Your time is up. Please insert another quarter.

It really is that simple.
A POTUS is successful when he gets his key legistlation passed and signed like the Healthcare Bill, the payroll tax cut, etc....
Speaking of that, the hypocracy of the Republicans argueing about how to pay for an extension of the payroll tax cut. When are they going to find a way to pay for the bush tax cuts?
The answer to BOBO's "legislative success" was served up in the 2010 mid-terms. Nothing fails like success.

Payroll tax cut - temporary. Sideshow. Got the bread - where do we pick up our free circus tickets now?

ObamaScare lasts only as long as Obama does. Which is November, if he continues to his present course to the left.

When are they going to find a way to pay for the bush tax cuts? "They" is now the Party in power - BOBO and Mad Harry Reid. And we've just seen their answer, in the form of BOBO's Budget. Which Reid has already announced will see no action by the Senate this year.

Purely for political entertainment value.

These people are not serious leaders.

We get to clean house in November.

Speaking of that, I read a good joke about it yesterday:

"Obama's budget: Government still getting bigger"
By ANDREW TAYLOR Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP)-- "Taking a pass on reining in government growth, President Barack Obama unveiled a record $3.8 trillion election-year budget plan Monday, calling for stimulus-style spending on roads and schools and tax hikes on the wealthy to help pay the costs. The ideas landed with a thud on Capitol Hill."

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_OBA...

Golly. Weren't you just blathering on a few pages ago singing BOBO's praises for shrinking the federal government?

You must feel a right twat now, eh? All hail BOBO.

And you know Ryan, right? The guy whose fiscal repair plan you keep trying to pretend doesn't exist?

"It seems like the president has decided again to campaign instead of govern and that he's just going to duck this country's fiscal problems," said House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis.

Word.

BOBO = Epic Fail. Hope for Change in 2012.

Yep - not a good situation. Having a neophyte POTUS makes it worse.

Bush's tax cuts?!!

• The cuts that grew GDP 29.7% from 2003 to 2008 -- an all-time record?

• The cuts that grew federal income tax revenues almost 56% during that same time -- an all-time record?

• The cuts that saw federal income tax revenue grow at a rate almost double GDP?

The problem isn't paying for the tax cuts. The problem is that the dipshits in DC got hold of this extra money and can't stop spending it.

Of course, being the dishonest obaminion you are, you'll continue with your partisan hackery. Have you already scheduled when you'll be asking the same question again?

Even in this budget the number of federal workers decrease. That is what I had stated and that remains true.

Which budget that Obama has submitted has gotten through Congress. If I were him I would submit a blank sheet of paper to the House and tell them to write a budget like the Constitution says.

Well Teddy, it is kind of bad to be blaming Obama for "losing" Egypt while you are saying we need to get out now.

We have not lost anything at this time. What they are looking at is the Turkish model where the military ensures a secular government.

But we can always guarentee a loss using your advice.

When you work with people that are diametrically opposed to anything you want to do what do you expect?

I see the House has flipped again once the realize how appealing it is to demand a tax cut for the working public be paid for while saying they are free to fat cats.

That is exactly what Obama has faced from day one from the Senate and the last couple of years from the House.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Virgo

It's no good arguing with a certain person today because they'll always have a smart answer ready for you and you'll simply end up going round in circles. You could also get rather ratty in the process, which will destroy any chance of raising objective arguments or proving that they're a boring pedant who's only happy when they're scoring points off you. They might say the same about you!
