Methadone just substitutes one addiction to another, the only difference is you get your methadone at clinics

every couple of years, someone wants to open a methadone clinic, and it has always been rejected. not appropriate for any town, sorry. if the hospital has programs, let ms. sullivan open one up there. i'm glad it finally got into the zoning regulations...let's see if someone changes the rules.

Just another place for the addicts to get their daily dose, legally. Research has shown that these clinics DO NOT operate as they claim and are nothing more then substitution stations. Often at taxpayers expense as they use state and federal resources. These clinics are opening in everytown across America. The owners have found a gold mine and now the addicts have a source to feed their need. This has to be stopped as now the use, abuse and deaths of methadone are an epidemic in this country. You can die from a single small dose and nothing else. Take home doses have been linked to trades, sales and even deaths. This drug needs to be taken off the market.
