Just a murder charge? That's it? The death penalty isn't on the table? Is it because he has mental issues? If you ask me, any insanity pleas should be put on the back burner. He knew what he was doing. If he knew enough to leave the state then he knew what he was doing. It may sound terrible and maybe it is but I would love it if Tun Tun would have been HIV positive. He wasn't to my knowledge but this animal would be sure to become infected. I've seen someone I loved die from AIDS and it was horrible. It's still too good for this guy but at least he would suffer for a long time. Even that's too good for him but its a start. I'd like to be in court tomorrow but it's gonna be a circus. I hope while he's locked up he gets a big old boyfriend named Bubba. I feel sorry for his family though. No punishment will be severe enough for him.

He's never going to get the death penalty because he's clearly schizophrenic. I think the voices in his head were overwhelming... still, one wishes this beast could be tortured. There were some medieval tortures that would be fitting!

I dunno! Ever hear of the things they did in medieval europe to enemies? Turned them upside down and poured molten metal in their butts! Oh yeah, that would hurt a bit....

The state mental hospital in Bridgeport refused to give this murder treatment. Shame on them.

If he knew enough to leave town then how incompetent is he? There's something I don't understand. He got his "blood lust" from eating a rare steak so why didn't he get a steak and eat it raw? He just wanted to kill someone and now he can hide behind his mental illness. We don't know if he even ate the parts that were stolen. For all we know he could have fed them to a dog. The only one who truly knows is the murderer. Y is he only charged with murder? What about desecration of a corpse or improper disposal of a body?

The guy heard totally overpowering voices... he might even wind up in a nut house instead of jail. I vote for the molten lead, but he's obviously a severe schizophrenic- not responsible for what he did, in the eyes of the state.

I'm not sure about that. He may go to the nut house but if they look at the fact that he knew enough to leave town plus that he told his family what he was going to do and did exactly what he said they may see things differently. Then I don't think a jury wants any chance of him ever on the streets again. It's scary. I live two blocks from where it happened. I could have been walking down the street and bumped into him. He could have killed me! I've seen this guy walking around the neighborhood. When I think about it I get goosebumps. I want ymto know if he use drugs? There's was a rumor going around that Tun Tun found a good amount of crack. If thats the case and this animal smoked crack then its possible he heard that Tun Tun had it and decided he wanted it for himself. Like I said that's just a rumor but it is possible.

Many great comments in #11. It is bedtime for Tippy and her fish and myself, and to all, a good night.

I agree with a bunch of the postings above - If this guy had enough of a brain to get out of Dodge after he killed someone then he should be prosecuted the same...If the jury is smart they will say---hmmmm he made a logical decision with items A and F but was a little off with some of the others - if he can rationalize - fry his A$$. Lethal injection wouoldnt be the way to do it - more like slice him up with a razor blade and throw him in a bathtub full of rubbing alcohol - let his ass die from shock! Seeing that he killed this guy Tun Tun I wonder how many other homeless vagrants this guy has killed between CT and FLA ??

If he's out there eating brains in a graveyard, he's earned his crazy status. In Texas, however, they give you the needed medication once your'e in jail, and then they try you as a mental competent. Also don't forget he tried to kill himself in the pharmacy, after not getting his meds. This guy had voices screaming at him 24/7 making him do crazy stuff. He's not like you and I.

I like the way u think. They are looking into other possible murders being connected to him. I think they should take one of his eyes out while he's alive then let him watch as they feed it to a dog. Then maybe put him in a tub with one pirahna and let it slowly eat him. Tun Tun would have forgiven him but the residents of the East side won't ever.

Citizen - I'm sorry but Im not buying the "voices" theory...Kinda sounds too much like the movie Primal fear....Albeit in the movie he suffered from multiple personality disorder but there are too many cop outs and scapegoats these days! The minute someone kills someone and its a whack job murder they immediately plead insanity. What were the meds he was trying to get ? Was it a legit prescription ? Are there warnings for those meds that say you could have suicidal tendencies ? Too many gray area's and assumptions right now - Where are the jackasses from the CT Post who should be investigating the types of meds he was trying to obtain ? Maybe trying to find out that info isn't "graphic enough" for them so they're gonna wait to post another picture of a murder on the front page !

what I'm NOT buying is the fact BPTPD WAS notified by the cousin around Dec 15...Why did they NOT investigate this person per her heads up?? Something is NOT adding up here! That character used to go by the Hunt INN whacked out on drugs heading in direction of Beardesly Park a number of times...His face is NOT unamiliar..BPTPD for some reason doesnt want info back then or NOW!! Any of us who had offered info were blown off by lead investigator(female) until I called my friend, her superior...Then all of a sudden this cannibal may be linked to others? Yeah right!

PS my understanding was this guy was born OK...abused drugs which altered his personality, mental status...You can see that in the 2 different pictures right off the bat..like 2 different people. When he was thin with long hair appeared alert coherent...Bloated demented looking..Is that ba44turd possessed? I think he is filled with the devil..I am serious! His behavior is not that of metal defect but of demonic possession! Years back my friend was a Guard at BPT prison.. a killer like this one used to have fires start, rain fall in his cell..Strange funky stuff no one could explain...HE WAS POSSESSED! Does anyone remember that? It was in the 70's...Widely publicized and factual

Yeah notice CT POST digs in on some things like rabid dogs yet gets no dilly on necessary stuff their reporters are 3rd rate aholes...all the good ones they got rid of..CT POST is the national Enquierer run by 2 morons(MCCuCumber & BADEN) who edit the crap out of articles..Shit can facts and add lies to others..
